Unfortunately, I am highly allergic to eggs. Could this somehow be related to POIS?
It's possible. I'm sensitive to egg white. Egg yolks, however, are no problem for me.

Congrats :-) They are definitely yummy and nutritious.
I recommend putting soy sauce instead of salt, makes the taste even nicer.
Thank you
Will surely try it

Fatigue
Is it so severe ?? Is it similar to brain fog ?? If this is similar to brain fog in POIS, then the fatigue may be due to POIS and not due to sensitivity to Egg white

So, for researchers and poisers that may find this thread on eggs in the future, I want to add new finds after eating 6-10 eggs a day for some months.

- The benefits seem to be cumulative and increasing, as if it's the thing that my body has been desperately needing the most for years, even decades.

- All other supplements and vitamins don't seem to be as crucial as eggs are. Even niacin. I could stop all of them, eggs I can't.

- Great improvement in my overall well-being - physical and mental.

- The need to lay down and stay like that for an indefinite amount of time to 'rest', which I've called 'chronic fatigue', is gone.

- Waking up and getting out of bed, which has always been an extremely difficult part of my day, seems quite trivial now. I even, somehow, feel kind of thrilled for the day, which is a new thing to me. I guess that's how being healthy feels.

- Physical activities are less painful now. As I've already said in this thread, I'm sweating less and the urge to urinate every few minutes is just gone. Urge to drink water non-stop is gone too.

- I feel smarter, solving problems seems easier, I also have more patience to read long boring work-related tutorials, or watching boring long videos teaching some boring stuff that I have to learn due to my job.

- I've always had this inexplicable fat in my belly, I say inexplicable given the crazy amounts of effort I've put on my diet, sleep and physical activity routine for years, and I'd just sigh and attribute this to 'bad genetics', but now it's vanishing and my abs started to show for the first time in my life. And I'm far from the discipline I used to have some years ago.

- I've been using Strava to record my runs around my neighbourhood for years, and even though my training now has been inconsistent, far from my best compared to when I was training for multiple races before covid, I'm now reaching PRs almost daily effortlessly, and something strange happened a few days ago, there's a strava segment that's a short path uphill (0.402 km /0.25 miles), and I've always done this segment while on 160/170 bpm, but now I'm doing it in less 40 bpm (125 bpm). Long runs of two hours with 115-125 bpm, while before it was 150-160 bpm. I'm baffled.

- Picture from my Strava with data for this uphill segment below. Also all strava segments/runs now have this smoother heartbeat curve pattern now compared to before, I don't know what to make out of this, but the heartbeat curves seems to be steadier, more controlled, I believe that it's a good thing, given that I'm feeling much better.

No it is mild, but it adds to the some kind of load leading to symptoms, it is about minimizing triggers. POIS mode makes me more sensitive to food. I will try eating more egg yolks.

Hello bellini
Happy to hear about your improvement. How many days of symptoms do you experience in pois before starting eggs ??

Hello muon
I used to have this type of fatigue with some medicines. But after eating eggs for more than 1 yr, i no longer feel fatigue with those medicines. I think your fatigue is related to pois and not eggs. I may be wrong but i wanted to share my thoughts.
Thanks
