Suncreen
« on: February 19, 2021, 11:05:07 PM »
Just a little revelation I found out about a few summers ago. If I apply your normal everyday chemically loaded sunscreen I, for a better word, end up feeling like xxxx for hours. Like headaches, depression, brain fog, etc.  If don't apply sunscreen I'm fine. I find if I apply the thick zinc sunscreen I am also fine. Just wondering if anybody else is sensitive to sunscreen.

The chemicals in sunscreen we're proven to transdermally make it's way to your bloodstream in some studies? Causing symptoms in some people. Anybody else have this?

I bet you will have mutations in your detox genes, best thing for you to do is use as much natural products as possible : filtered water for cooking and drinking, natural shower gel/shampoo, organic food, avoid plastic containers, ventilate your bedroom with fresh air.

I'm homozygous for the GST and GPX genes which are the glutathione enzyme genes that detox chemicals, liposomal glutathione would be helpful for you. DNRS can help reprogram your limbic system to turn off the warning signals in your brain when you are exposed to chemicals.

My mother told me that her stomach feels better upon contact with raw kefir milk.

I might give that a try as normal d3 doesn't help me. My gene report also recommended Vitamin E in tocotrienol to help the SOD2 gene mutations, this form of Vitamin E is up to fifty times more potent than the usual generic form tocopherols.

Hi GLC,
For years, I have made the best health choices I can for any food I eat, any lifestyle habit, and any product I use.  I have turned to zinc suncreens for more than 10 years.  They are efficient, and now with micronized zinc screen, you do not have that whitish shade anymore, and zinc is organic and healthy.
I had not noticed any direct effect when using all those chemical sunscreen, but they are clearly not natural, and their long term safety is not clear at all.
Another advantage for zinc is that it reflects light, rather than absorbing it like some other sunscreens.   So zinc act more like a piece of cloth, which is more "natural".
I also stay away from micronized titanium.  It is sometime found in zinc sunscreens, but unlike zinc, titanium is not organic, the body has not need for it.

I've gone through so many supplements to find what works that I've lost count. Never tried glutathione.  Glutamine Makes me too stimulated though, one of the precursors. Can a mutation occur in the teenage years? Was not born like this.

Thank you guys for your responses.

When I said gene mutations I meant hereditary mutations you were born with, not sure why they're called mutations tbh but what it means is homozygous or hetrozygous SNP (gene variants) from when you were born.

Glutamine is nothing like liposomal glutathione, infact I feel really bad from glutamine. Liposomal glutathione is a potent antioxidant and detoxifier, it can detox heavy metals, chemicals, mold, yeast etc, and help the immune system fight bacteria , viruses. It's expensive but worth it imo.

According to the "limbic-system-damage-model" your senses become more sensitive to stimuly because of a stress reaction - the body sharpens the part of the brain that
perceives stimuli. So become more easliy bothered by fragrance, smoke, light, sound, eletric radiation and enviromental toxins. Thats why we see this wave of people isolating themself in toxic and electrical free, all natural houses and wearing ecological clothes and using allergy safe detergents. They cant use the common one anymore. I'm also more sensitive to fragrance. I cant go inside a perfume shop, I cant use classical strong toothpaste and I cant breath when staning beside a person with chemical perfume. Maybe its the same with chemical sunscreen.

Yeah sorry I meant can a mutation express itself in the teenage years which I now realize is a stupid question that I know the answer for which is yes.

Pepsodent toothpaste is perfect for me I find. Surely you've found something though. Still haven't found a mouthwash for myself.

Be aware of that mint/mentol is bad for testosterone. Perhaps a strong mint toothpaste should be avoided.
