Lihua, do you have any issues with your gut, intestines, digestion or gasses? Excema? hard stools, constipation, bloating, skin issues, food allergies, floaters in the eye etcetera? Any symptoms that arrives after eating specific foods or too much food? Yellow stools, thin stools? I've been having pois for decades and it's just the last year that I have become aware of how much the digestion affects the pois state! For me its an enourmous improvement when going on a low-sensitive food diet (its a specific list without grains animal proteins, dairy, grains, fodmap, coffee, low histamine, low lectin, no nuts/muschroom etc). bone broth is good, but should probably be avoided at the start because of potentional hight histamine content. Stay vegan but only specific vegetables low on histamin, fodmap, lectines and anything that is known for irritating the gut. This is sooo important!
To further help the intestines:
1. Be active, walk, run, jump. Good for bowel movements and blood circulation. I belive many pois symptoms are highly exacerbated by blood pooling.
2. Drink alot water (alot and regulary, never become dry in mouth). Where does the water go? To the intestines!!
3. Take some vitamin C (1-6 grams a day, ph-neutral or liposomal)
4. Avoiding orgasm/pois stimulating thoughts (start inflammation in the gut).
5. Have a good sleep (no screen time 2 hours before bed, go to bed 10-11 pm). Go out in the sun in the morning.
6. Add probiotica after the symptoms has been reduced for a period of some weeks. Dont take it in the beginning!
7. Eat smaller meals many times a day instead of a few bigger. Just drink water/tea between 7pm to 10 am (extend the intermittant fast when the symptoms are worse - 5pm to twelve noon )
In severe cases of intestinal issues, do a water fast for 48 hours. You could add some vegetable juice and herbal tea if you feel that a water fast is too difficult for you.
Optional: Even infra red light therapy on the whole stommach seems to have a good effect - it might be healing the gut inflammation (but probably not nessecary)!
This is a low expensive protocol (exept from the optional infra red light therapy) and easy to follow!
Some examples of approved food: Carrot/cauliflower/artichoke/broccoli/asparagus (steemed/boiles/grates), green leafy vegetables (except from ruccola), coconut milk/cream/fat, millet, most herbs/hermal teas, carrot juice, sea salt, nettle. Some days I just mix some of this together in a bowl (warm or cold) and add sea salt, some fres herbs and pour coconut milk over. Taste good. I can eat only this for many days/weeks until all pois symptoms is gone (inflammation feeling, headache, skin issues, dry esyes etc). Remember your intestines might be VERY sensitive and leaky in the beginning. BUT REMEMBER! By just having one cup of coffee, aubergine, zuccini, apple, banana, cucumber (yes be careful of cucumber too) milk, egg, whey protein, soy or some canned fish (canned tuna is extreemely high in histamine, I ate one small can and was out for 2 weeks!!!) could crash your intestines immediately and your back to square one! Stay on the safe food list for some days/weeks and I'm sure you will see improvements!
So for me: Healing the intestines = lower pois symptoms!.
Cheating the protocol in a sensitive state = back to pois symptoms.
Cheating after some weeks on the protocol = Less or no symtpoms, even after orgasm.
Chetaing after one year of the protocol = I have faith. Not there yet!
