norepinephrine
« on: January 14, 2023, 07:01:50 PM »
Hello , i read some articles in this forum about  norepinephrine deficiency and the possibility  that it may leads to POIS .
So , im asking what are the ways to boost  this neurotransmitter ??
i read also that "milnacipran" was very good for "hurray"  is there other members who tried it ?
And is there any relations between catecholamine  and  "severe thirst"  ?
( i have severe thirst after orgasm )

Thanks in advance .

Hi demode33, drop247 tried milnacipran with some success:

It worked very well for jan:

Other members reported having no success. It doesn't work for everybody, although you could say the same about most medicines and illnesses  :)

thanks hurray , i will give it a try .
My pois symptoms get reduced by cold showers , and i read in some google search that the  ?Cold Shocking the Body?  increase the release of norepinephrine , and some norepinephrine deficiency cognitive symptoms are the same symptoms of  pois .
so i suspect that  my pois  was due to a lack of norepinephrine .

Several posters on this forum (including me) have noticed that hot showers can cause POIS-like symptoms, interesting that you've experienced cold showers doing the opposite. I strongly suspect that milnacipran's NRI (Norepinephrine reuptake inhibition) is what causes it to be effective against my POIS.

As always, be very cautious dealing with prescription medication if you decide to try milnacipran. You should only take it on the advice of and under the supervision of a doctor. Milnacipran is known to increase blood pressure amongst other side-effects.

Thanks for the warning . i decided to first  use L-Phenylalanine and Tyrosine  ( precursors of norepinephrine ) .
