anti bodies are attacking our central nervous system after O
« on: April 04, 2021, 12:23:03 AM »
I have a theory that our own anti bodies are attacking our central nervous system after O. An over reaction

In a sense Simlar to how a woman's anti bodies attack our sperm.

EDIT: Admin splitted topic away from master theory list https://poiscenter.com/forums/index.php?topic=3744.0

That is a very good hypothesis. I just read IronFeather's case here and she also think that POIS is harming the nervous system/vagus nerve. I did a bioresonance analysys (in the medical test results) which showed problem with the central and peripheral nervous system.

I always get weird numbing sensation in fingertips just seconds after orgasming and it feels as if my nervous system and brain are fried like the mind emptiness, brain fog, motor issues, the weird vision issues, mental fatigue that is worsened when trying to think etc.

Very Interesting BoneBroth

What instrument do you use to measure this?

My nervous system is shot after O.
I feel theres a screw lose upstairs and my confidence is caput.
I blush so easily with all the same side effects as you journey.
But withdrawing from O it disappears.
Something is definitely decimating a nervous stimulation that feels like its turning on itself.

Cosmic, interesting!
10 years of significant POIS-reduction, treatment consisting of daily (365 days/year) testosterone patches.

TRT must be checked out carefully with your doctor due to fertility, cardiac and other risks.

40+ years of severe 4-days-POIS, married, raised a family, started/ran a business

someone told me if SSRi work it may be because we have antibodies in the brain against our own serotonin in the brain ,idk if it may be true or not

Its called a Bicom Bioresonance, probably one of the most recognized bioresonance brand.

My "pois cascade hypothesis":
1. Orgasm releases inflamatory substances. Why? Deficiencies of some hormons because of too many releases? Or in combination with genetic predisposition, stress, gluten/lactoseintollerance? I don't know, but releases seems to be central.
2. The inflammatory substances harms many organs and each organ gives it own symptom (or in chain reactions). For example:
Brain -> Headache, depression, no motivation
Thyroid -> Temperature regulation, hotflash, difficulty sleeping, muscle weakness, hyperactivity.
Hypotalamus - > Dry skin, dehydration, hotflash, heartbeat etc
Liver/gall bladder - > Acne, advanced hormonal iimblances, SIBO
Kidney -> Low blood pressure, POTS, headache, varicose veins
Adrenal -> Cortisol excess followed by cortisol decline -> inflammation, testosterone deficiency. Cushing's syndrome, Addison's disease.
CNS - > tingeling, difficult to breath
Blood vessels/blood - > varicose veins, blood pooling (thick blood) because of clumping platelets
Intestines - > Bloating, gas, candida, vitamin deficiency, advanced hormonal imblances, SIBO
  Gonads  -> Testosterone deficiency

When you google symptoms for problems with those organs you will recognize many of your POIS symptoms. But thats just secondary effects.

I did a liver-detox and managed to decrease the acne outbrek to a minimum, but the other symptoms remained. With a SIBO protocol I reduced the bloating (and the pois caued by bloating) but the other symptoms remained etcetera. So we could strengthen some individual organs and restore their functions to a certain poin (remove some symptoms) but it would not cure POIS unless the main cause is fixed and the organs cant take the load for any length of time without the risk of permanent damage.

To cure POIS (which I believe is possible to a great extent) we have to adress the main cause. And as I see it, the startpoint must be to restore a healthy orgasm-routine/function (stop orgasm for a long time!), restore the hormonal balance and rewire the brain. Healing the intestines, detoxifying the liver, taking certain vitamins/minerals, reducing stress, improving sleep and exercise would hugely catalyze  the healing process, along with protecting the body from inflammatory substances when accidently orgasm (with Quantum/Nanna1 POIS-packs). But there are a multitude of other health methods that could aim in the process (for example bioresonance).

Interesting bone broth

I saw a video on YouTube that a guy abstained for 4 years and claimed he was cured

Possibly so, difficult for those with nocturnal emissions though

My personal belief after years of learning and experimenting is as follows. Note that this is a model I work with. Just that. But it is based on scientific studies piecewise. That is many of the pieces are proven. The model I present is very simplified and not novel.

I believe that the enzymes my body needs to form effective skin, small intestine, and many other tissues that form barriers are being used up to create an alternative path for energy production. The key one being Glutamine. Many studies have shown that people with CFS (which I had simultaneous onset with POIS at age 27) cannibalize muscle to get to this enzymes and others.

When I take Glutamine for example  I feel my body shift to a higher energy state within minutes   Everything works far better. Mood, mental clarity, heart feels strong and my muscles feel nourished and up to anything. For about four hours. Then have to repeat.
The catch is that the immune system gets energy
as well making the reaction to O stronger, kicking in inflammation to high gear, creating more swollen stomach, joint inflammation, etc.

That is I believe my membranes leak. Which explains my reactions to shampoos, semen on skin, internal inflammation of pelvic area after O etc. The conduits that are supposed to contain semen as it is transported, gut as it digests, and possibly the blood brain barrier are leaking. The immune system thus coming in to clean up what leaks and perpetuating an inflammation cycle that uses up the same enzymes that are needed to seal the leak.

So in my opinion it is all inflammation based.

The key is to find the balance between keeping inflammation low while healing the leaky tissues. That has been the tough challenge.

Interestingly some people in this forum have found ways to go completely asymptomatic for a while by targeting their intestines with packs that work for them. And include generous portions of glutamine.

My guess is that  is why your skin reacts the way it does to semen.

I do not believe the spinal issues you are having are likely to produce all the POIS symptoms you are having.

I applaud your analytical and tenacious thinking. It will serve you well as you expand your search for what works for you.

Look at healthrising.org for a perspective on enzymes and CFS. You might be surprised to the overlap of symptoms with POIS.

I believe our bodies are over sensitized immunologically and neurologically  due to the immune system having to be in constant “clean up all that is leaking through” mode.

Note that living  fueled by glutamine as such is not a permanent solution. I found it not sustainable in large dosages. But may be a path to a permanent solution hopefully by healing the tissues that are leaking.
Simultaneous onset of CFS and POIS since Feb 1993. Married since 1989.

Helped by Immunocal (I explained how to take in previous posts).  Some relief on day one and day two.  It affects neurotransmitters.

100 % agree with glutamine supplementation!

I had ?leaky gut syndrome? in the past ,  taking glutamine , appeared to strengthen my intestinal lining and help resolve the issue. Whatever it did, it gave me a positive response for my gut. I find taking it in the morning or afternoon is best, it effects my sleep if I have it in the evening !

The other go to supplements I take to keep me on the good side are fenugreek and vitamin d .. and occasionally zinc and magnesium ... plus lots of plant based smoothies with vegan proteins .
