His initials are not the same as in the Indian article, probably not the same guy. There is zero proof for his claim about leakage. Prostaglandin involvement doesn't imply leakage.

I had met him in person. He just prescribed nsaids
which hardly works on me.
I assumed from our discussion that he thinks pois is a simple inflammatory problem and can be cured by antiinflammatory drugs . I know  pois is much more than that, so I did not pursue further.

NSAID's do help me a little, but you are right, I don't think they are safe to take in the long-run.

I called his office asking for a online consult once. He charges 2000 INR(27USD) for a consult just to prescribe some antihistamines.
The typical cost for a consultation however good the doctor is maybe 800INR
