My POIS
« on: July 11, 2020, 09:34:09 AM »
Ok, here I am again after a long time, I checked my last posts before returning to write to get a vague idea of where I had come with the "care" of my POIS and I almost laugh at the dangerous methods to which I had arrived even though to have mental relief.

My POIS is of the primary type, that is from the first orgasm, or rather from the first nocturnal emissions as a teenager.

As for the symptoms I will boldface those I have:

The 7 clusters of symptoms of criterion 1:

General: Extreme fatigue, exhaustion, palpitations, problems finding words, incoherent speech, dysarthria, concentration difficulties, quickly irritated, cannot stand noise, photophobia, depressed mood
Flu-like: Feverish, extreme warmth, perspiration, shivery, ill with flu, feeling sick, feeling cold
Head: Headache, foggy feeling in the head, heavy feeling in the head
Eyes: Burning, red injected eyes, blurred vision, watery, irritating, itching eyes, painful eyes
Nose: Congestion nose, watery / runny nose, sneezing
Throat: Dirty taste in mouth, dry mouth, sore throat, tickling cough, hoarse voice
Muscle: Muscle tension behind neck, muscle weakness, pain in muscles, heavy legs, stiff muscles

It is a purely cognitive POIS, reflecting on the symptoms I have them all even without POIS but they are at a much more tolerable level and it takes little to overcome them, under POIS it instead becomes a problem.

Lately I have developed an arsenal of medical drugs and supplements that I use to combat these symptoms both when I am in POIS and when sober but I will try to stay on the subject of POIS by treating anxiety, mental fog and depression as symptoms of POIS rather than talking in depth about these symptoms which unlike POIS are well known and have consistent scientific documentation.

At the moment I also ordered niacin that I will take before having an orgasm, when I took it I noticed a reduction of even 50% of the symptoms.

I have been recovering from POIS for a few days now, this is the final phase before the complete recovery, let's say that it happens after 3 or 4 days usually.

I will update the topic as soon as I discover something interesting.

Welcome back Unvers, my POIS type is similar but I am now focusing in the vagus nerve with very good results:

That is really wonderful to see: that all of our POIS/vagus nerve Research gave us one more serious avenue for POIS treatment and possible success!

To be honest I have never evaluated this theory, for now I got niacin, a 100mg tablet, so it must be taken half an hour before having orgasm?

I improved a lot in the treatment of my cognitive POIS, yesterday three orgasms and today I managed to have a normal day, after 10 years of POIS I am almost speechless, I noticed that the mood tends to return to normal 24 hours after the last orgasmic event, until then there is a period of low mood because there is a reduction of serotonergic signaling in my opinion caused by POIS, the problem is understanding what causes POIS.

Niacin helps but lately I am always taking it after, first I avoid it because maybe I will not even have an orgasm and risk of taking side effects such as redness and heat sensation without then even having orgasm and therefore POIS, it would take long-release niacin, the effect of what they sell online is short.

I do not know where to start because there are so many molecules and supplements that I am trying, I mainly fight mental haze or cognitive dysfunction, low mood and anxiety but much the cognitive dysfunction that in my case in the long run leads to the other two, I have both a supplement specific of 100mg niacin that one in general of the group of vitamins B, in addition other supplements, in one the E is also used, until now I had never met a supplement against physical and mental fatigue which contains also E, also fatigue and lethargy I have noticed that a little increase under POIS, it is as if the brain in its whole set of functions is somehow sabotaged.

I'm starting to think that my POIS even if it has no physical symptoms has a cause related to the immune system, on antihistamines the symptoms seemed slightly lower but this I have no idea how it can be connected to the fact that niacin helps.
