Do you still have your tonsils?
« on: March 25, 2019, 10:09:46 AM »
6 years ago I had my tonsils removed. My POIS doctor said that it might help a bit with POIS. This helped me withPOIS. I had less throat and nose problems. But I read that removing the tonsils makes the chance bigger to have an auto immune disease. The question is: does our immune system work to hard and that causes POIS symptoms? If yes, then removing the tonsils should help against POIS. Or is our immune system too weak? And by removing the tonsils the POIS will get worse.

I am curious who has his tonsils removed in the period that he has POIS. And what was the effect?

I do not know if there is a connection between removing my tonsils 6 years ago and the POIS like symptoms like hot flushes and chills that began 5 years ago.
POIS since 2000. Very bad since 2008. I knew that I have POIS since June 2010. Desensitization since March 2011. I stopped with desens in July 2016. I have 50% less POIS. And only 1 day of POIS. Purified CBD works for me, but I am allergic for CBD.

Yes I still have those. I've had problems with tonsil stones though.
