Thank you everyone who responded to the survey and to everyone who is still responding. It has always been my hope that we can do something valuable with this data to address POIS.

I've written a paper using the survey data and submitted it to a major medical journal. I have received comments from reviewers who are requesting that I make major revisions to the paper. I hope to be able to make these revisions within the next couple of months. I am very busy with other areas of my life, and the revisions are extensive, so it will take time. Publishing this paper is a priority for me, though making the revisions will take some time.

Even after I make the revisions, there is no guarantee that the journal will publish the paper. I hope that they do. If they don't, we'll go from there. I might submit to a different journal. These things take time -- if you've never been involved in scientific publications, it takes longer than you might think.

PLEASE CONTINUE responding to the survey. If you are just responding now, your data will not be included in this first paper. HOWEVER, the survey is extensive. When I created the survey, my idea was to use it for several publications. I can't guarantee anything, though I hope to have more publications -- they will be easier if I can find a good co-author, and that will be easier if I can publish this first paper.

ONCE the first paper is published, I will publicly release the data, so that other researchers as well as the community can analyze it.

Dear Friends

I was suffering from POIS for about six years. No need to list the symptoms.
This how I healled my self:
1 Fasting for 7 days with water
2 Green clay cure for 21 days
3 Control what you eat and avoid industrial food, if possible cook your food your self.
Repeat this process every season change (4 times a year).

I'm POIS free since 3 years and I've never seen a doctor untill today.

Long water fasts induces autophagy, cleaning out damaged cells and regenerating new ones, someone suggested me to do one however I'm already very skinny and lose a lot of weight if I miss meals so it could be dangerous for me if I was to do something like seven days.
