Can anyone help me on this? I am abstaining now for a month but i feel very wet on the bullocks area and i have sperm leaks all the time and that frustrates me a lot because i continuesly think that POIS symptom will appear and will destroy my day..

Hi Chris 18,

This leakage you've mentioned -- whatever it is -- should be discussed with your physician. It shouldn't be happening (unless you're referring to nocturnal emissions).

Also, sometimes semen (not just sperm) can get mixed in with the urine -- it's called "retrograde ejaculation." It's not an ejaculation in the sense of having an orgasm. It's a medical issue -- where the sperm goes back into the bladder, and then comes out mixed in with the urine.

It happens when the muscle that controls the bladder becomes weakened (antidepressants and other meds can cause this -- it can be a temporary side-effect). Some of the semen goes backwards and gets into the bladder, instead of all of it going out through the urethra (because the bladder muscle is weak and not completely closed).

So, for example, if a man has this condition, and ejaculates/has a nocturnal emission, semen and sperm will be mixed in with the urine.

A simple urinalysis show if there's sperm in the urine.

You've been abstaining for a whole month (that's a LONG TIME TO ABSTAIN!!), so it's not surprising that you're having some type of semen/sperm leaks.

Definitely mention this leakage to your doctor -- retrograde ejaculation isn't weird or anything (if that's what this is), and is a well-understood condition, especially by urologists. It may be that a medication you're taking is causing this semen leakage. Or it may be that abstaining for so long is causing the leakage.

(***This isn't meant to be a diagnosis, by any means -- I obviously don't know what's going on -- it just sounds a bit like retrograde ejaculation -- or possibly nocturnal emissions.)

As an aside, it's interesting that if this is only semen leakage (without urine), that you're not having POIS symptoms. So -- it may not be semen -- and could be urine.

Please go to the doctor and get a proper evaluation!

Don't be afraid to discuss this with your doctor. Just tell him/her that you've been abstaining because you don't feel well after ejaculating, and now you're getting this leakage.

And then let us know what the doc says!

Thanks a lot Stef..I believe that abstinence cause me those leaks too.I dont think i have problems with this area as i am only 18..Fortunately i found out that this leaks dont cause me POIS symptoms..(Its just only my head that tricks them)I think thats because either the amount that i leak is very little to cause POIS or the sperm doesnt follow the same procedure as it does in a normal Orgasm..I am not an expert on this,its just a hypothesis..Anyway,thanks a lot again!

Chris, the way you describe these leaks it doesn't sound like nocturnal emissions or semen in your urine. Are you sure it's actual semen that is leaking and not just pre-ejaculate from when you get sexually excited? I know for me pre-ejaculate doesn't cause POIS symptoms.

I had the same thoughts..that its not 100% semen..Ι believe its early semen fluid because im in an abstinence period and the body wants to miscarry some as it is filled so much with these fluids thats why i told that i dont have symptoms because it doesnt follow the same procedure as in a real orgasm.They have to be early fluids..my first thought that this might be semen, was because it had the sense and smell like semen and it was something totally different from urine..

It seems that i have urinary tract infection (UTI)..That caused me the leakings which i have until now and it short of gives me a little POIS boost every time i have one..I started medication now, i hope those leakings will stop..

Help!I dont have either UTI!LOL!I took some antibiotics and no relief i keep having this leaks all the time all day.Its not semen and its not urine its just some fluids i dont know.Does anyone know what disease is this so i can be accurate when i 'll go to an urologist again.Does anyone know how this illness is called ?The symptom is only one i have fluid leaks through my urethra all the time and they especially occur when i 'm sitting or make a sudden move and press the area generally..

This stuff is seriously constantly coming out of you? By constantly I mean every second of every minute. So it happens even when you haven't had any sexual thoughts?

Not exactly every minute but at least twice an hour..Luckily this doesnt cause me any symptoms..Its not semen..Plus it doenst have any relation with sexual actions or something like that..Its just another problem on the list and i need to find out how this discharge is called so i can describe it to an urologist and have the correct therapy..Not just like my previous urologist who gave me antibiotics for UTI which i dont have..Any thoughts about the name of this discharge ?

It says penile dishcarge could be caused by prostate inflammation, which is my guess as to the most likely reason for yours. Have you tried saw palmetto? In studies it has been shown to be almost or as effective as synthetic drugs in reducing prostate size, and I feel as if it also decreases prostate inflammation when I use it.

Yes,i went to an urologist yesterday and he confirmed what you said.Its prostatitis ,a prostate inflammation that occurs to many people and especially to young ones..He prescribed me medicines and hopeful will recover fast..

So i cured my prostatitis(eventually it was prostatitis not a UTI as i believed in the beginning) some days ago and those fluid leaks stopped.But i found what might have caused it and i want your opinion guys from anyone who wants about the cause of my prostatitis.I found on a site this paragraph about side effects of over masturbation and its the following :

Look at the symptoms,they are very similar to ours!I used to masturbate a lot and sometimes i still do and it got me thinking as some of you did as i read in some posts that excessive masturbation has a relation to POIS.What do you think about that ?
