I just remembered - during my remission all I did was listen to T and DHT boosting subliminal videos and exercising more which also boosts them. My T was already above average when I checked it so it must be DHT. Thus, I think my POIS is caused by low DHT, hence my "natural" timidity and why I felt so confident in May.
Heck, I got hard by seeing a nude body for the first time since first starting PMO!
Now if only I could find a way to boost my DHT/increase the 5a reductase enzyme or/and increase my adregenic receptors in a safe way basically my POIS will get cured! It's strange but on high DHT days I didn't feel any inflamation and my refractory period was shorter.
I say safe because my prostate for some reason gets enlarged when DHT gets high unfortunately, so I have to take saw palmeto to lower DHT but that makes my POIS symptoms worse. It's a catch 22 really and I hate that!
You bet I miss those 2 weeks in May when I (trigger warning!) could O once every day with no issues! OMG, I finally felt like a real man, like an unbroken one. DHT basically boosts male confidence anyway. And most strangely, my pheromones changed as women acted more submissive and feminine around me, those who usually don't notice me showed flirting and interest in me.
I had to stop the videos as I even had prostate leakage when taking a number 2, sorry for TMI. The other day I started the videos again and voila, today when my intestines are full and I need to go number 2 I feel like I need to cum, my prostate has gotten enlarged again.
Please, if anyone knows how to
increase your androgenic receptors and DHT everywhere but in the prostate, tell me! I'm at a loss! I want to feel and act like a man, be able to O almost every day with no issues whatsoever, like I did in May again! I'm starting to think the prostate is a burden as an organ because they say even fish oil can be bad for it. Idk why it's that sensitive to DHT boosts. Do you think one can get their prostate safely removed or shrink it in a way?
The other issue is I sometimes take Metformin as I have IR and feel dizzy after eating sometimes. Metformin lowers Testosterone so I lose benefits from those videos when I take it but I live in a culture where you're force fed bread and carbs. But it's not just carbs, even greasy proteine can cause me to feel bad after eating.
TL;DR Boosting DHT = great for reducing my POIS. In fact I could enjoy daily Os for 1-2 weeks with no repercussions that I remember! But it's bad for my prostate and I have to take Metformin which lowers T (and I guess DHT as well). Once I started taking Saw Palmeto that lowers DHT POIS symtoms came back.
