Understanding 'Immune theory'
« on: February 17, 2020, 04:57:24 PM »
I find a great deal of confusion, which might be stemming from a lack of stable science on Immunity, is it?.  On one hand, things that:
a)  heighten your immune system are praised, notably that they help to prevent and kill viruses.
b)   things that suppress your immune response are praised, they help to prevent and kill viruses

:)

Is A or B true?  I do know from experience that things that suppress immune response, I seem to really like them.  And things that increase the immune response, I feel miserable.

Swell, what are some examples of "things that increase the immune response" that make you miserable?

Most obvious for me is a miserable, highly debilitating, suffocating - unable to breath "Nasal Congestion".  Simply put un-adulterated torture :)  Since last 10 years life has improved, but as soon as I start taking any supplement that heightens immune response, I get difficulty breathing.  Supplements such as AHCC.  Plus I have noticed, I go into an endless POIS state.

Not sure related to this, but I have noticed that I have out of proportion inflammatory/swelling response during trauma or any surgical procedure.
