From my experience with people suffering from agitation is that they have bad tolerance to all drugs. Even before these drugs enter their blood stream.
So I don't know if there is actually any drug that can help with this symptom.

In my own case, what helps the most are magnesium, plus omega-3 with at least 1000mg EPA in it per day, and L-theanine.

All that with, most importantly, daily meditation, to calm the mind/thoughts, and take control over my state of mind, which leads to takes control over my emotional states , since our thoughts/perceptions/interpretation of reality create a large part of our emotions ( if you think there is a bear behind you, you will feel fear, whether or not there is really a bear.... the body and emotions do not make the difference between perceptions and reality).  But to be effective in POIS state, I have to do regular meditation practice - if I do not control my thoughts in normal state, it will not be possible at all in POIS state, because it is harder to achieve when in POIS.

My friend from Egypt seems to have bad reactions to all drugs including psychiatric drugs like SSRI's and GABA agonists.
I think you need to deal with agitation with a therapist who might help you control your emotions.
Also start learning to deal with the negative reactions you have from drugs because most of the time they are caused by anxiety rather the drug it self.
