Hypothetical question: precum antyallergic therapy
« on: August 04, 2019, 04:00:32 PM »
It's mostly a mere hypothesis, but lets give it a try
I tried a lot of non orgasm masturbations, and after every one of them, i've experienced mild pois symptoms. I've learned, thes precum contains amount of spermatozoids. So it just give you small POIS.
And the question is: if you would do that lets suppose, every day, could it work like antyallergic semen injection terapy? Cause often exposition to allergy symptoms is used as therapy in a lot of allergies.
I'm just a teen, but maybe on of you are a doctor, or your family? I suppose one of you had that idea, but i didnf found any thread about it, so it don't be wrong if i post it.

What you are referring to is orgasm without ejaculation.  About 50% men release dead sperm cells in their pre-ejaculatory fluid.  I orgasm roughly 4-5 times daily and never ever experienced POIS - the name needs to be corrected as it causes vocabulary confusion.  I only experienced POIS after "ejaculation".  Fortunately after suffering for decades, I am now reasonably cured/managed.

As to your theory, your guess is as good as would be of any doc on it, and that is even supposing that they'll answer your question :) so just experiment and find out.  Medical field is an interesting one, and while they have made themselves necessary but they are not the smartest.

Some time ago in the forum, people tested the hypothesis "allergic to their own sperm" by spreading sperm on their forearm, the place where doctors do allergy tests. [Careful: don't attempt a skin prank test at home, it can be dangerous, Dr. Waldinger warned. I mean just spreading sperm on top of skin]. I also tried this recently, to see if I'll get a rush or anything. I got nothing. I'll try again a few more times, just to be sure. The real reason, in my understanding, that the autoimmune theory was discarded was that also healthy men, with no POIS, also got reactions to this test.

Now, here is what I was thinking some time ago. We can try this but only with precum rather than cum. Just spread some precum on your forearm and wait for some time (like 24 hours without washing) to see if you get a reaction. I will try this soon, it's just that nowadays I have appointments with people almost every day and need to take showers - the moment I have some more time alone, I will try this. This would be a test for "autoimmune reaction to own precum." And then imagine if a control group of healthy men have no reaction - that would mean something along the lines of an autoimmune theory regarding own precum, rather than own sperm. It's an idea.

Look, I like the way you're thinking, we have to figure it out, who knows where the solution will come from. We have to think about all sorts of possible explanations and test them, as much as possible.

Or all possible different Pois forms.
I don't have Pois if I have excitation without ejaculation, so can I consider I'm not in the group of autoimmun/autoallergy ?

It could be interresting to check in your databases if this parameter seems to be common on other Poisers.

For some even pre-ejac induces POIS, for others only an orgasm induces it.

It's already known from previous posts that some do not have any urogenital symptoms. I suspect that for those who don't have problems in that part POIS kicks in only after an orgasm.

Maybe the initial triggers that cause this disorder are different in different types, but down the route there is a common pathway that affects the nervous system ( brain fog, muscle weakness, fatigue etc.)

Hi,
Interesting idea, indeed.  Have you been trying this?
Any results from it?

There is no proof that we have allergy to our own semen that's a silly idea frankly.

Don't have and never had precum, and I have POIS. Never seen it in porn either, is it noticeable?

Precum is usually barely noticeable.

My precum is easily noticeable, it's quite bulky. I often also have it without any erection, just by seeking some hottie on the streets. Pants become slightly wet.

Interestingly, though, if I am exposed to sexual imagery (but do no penus stimulation), I first get quite a lot of precum, before even getting hard. I may not remember correctly, but I think before POIS, I would get hard when I see a sexual image; now I stay soft,  just with precum.

I am a user of pois who has it with pre-seminal. It's hard, because you have to take care of your thoughts all the time. My theory is that it contains some semen. But everything lies in the nervous system. For me the problem is electric, a question of electric overload in our system triggers an auto-immune reaction. it is as if the body says ... the batteries are exhausted .... let's turn on the alarm. Let's not forget that there are two synapses, one chemical and one electric. Think about it
