Feeling cold/achey? Try a salty meal.
« on: May 14, 2018, 04:20:33 PM »
Hey everyone, it's been a while since I last posted on here.

Today has been especially hard. This morning when I went to practice trombone, I could hardly make a sound because I just felt horrible. So, I had a bowl of top ramen for lunch with extra soy sauce and now I think my blood pressure is recovering, since I can play much better now.

Anyway, try some ramen if you feel like you've got low blood pressure and add some extra soy sauce and see if it helps. I know this is kind of a strange "remedy" and it doesn't clear all symptoms, but I feel loads better, so give it a shot.
Symptoms last 6-7 days. Onset of muscle weakness after 30 seconds. Symptoms include: brain fog, fatigue, depression, pale skin/dark circles under eyes,  digestive problems, difficulty taking a full breath, irritability. NONE of these are present out of POIS.

Anyway, I need more details !
Can you explain what is your "ramen" ?
what are the ingredients ? Fish ?
Is salt or soja sauce the trigger ?
Thanks !

I'm talking about regular old top ramen. I definitely think the salt is what can be beneficial, since it can have the effect of raising one's blood pressure.

Thanks, Scary. I'll give it a shot next time I'm recovering.
