Cognitive POIS doubt
« on: December 21, 2017, 02:46:36 AM »
Hi all, recently I am developing on my own the idea that cognitive POIS that involve symptoms like drowsiness, impaired concentration, foggy brain and the like can be because of an intolerance to opioids, recently I am studying oppioids like heroin and methadone who consumers claims have effects very similar to an orgasm and I am watching their adverse effects on the mind rather than the body and many are the same of cognitive POIS, I don't know at which point is official research on cognitive POIS but this finding seems to me very logical because is well know that orgasm release endogenous oppioids in the brain.

Lot of us think at least one neurotransmitter is deficient after orgasm.
But which one(s) is it ? That is the question  ;D
Taurine = Anti-Pois

Dopamine is antagonized by orgasm even in healthy individuals, maybe is serotonin.

I am more and more convinced of my POIS being a withdrawal syndrome to the opioids neurotransmitters released with orgasm, it resemble a bit nicotine abstinence, never been on opiods withdrawal but is the only logical conclusion I found because without orgasm even if I had pre ejaculation I don't have POIS symptoms apart a light fall in dopamine caused by prolactin after a while that is normal I think.
