Penile/Groin Pain
« on: September 14, 2011, 02:23:10 AM »
Does anyone else have prostatitis symptoms? If I have sex I get a penile/groin pain and if I have sex more than once it can get bad and last for days. Also have toruble startting to pee. Saw a urologist and everything but they couldnt find anything. Sometimes even if im abstaining from sex I can get discomfort in the area. Anyone else?
My cognitive symptoms started suddenly during an orgasm when I was 16. I then developed my POIS and cognitive/physical symptoms became very severe. Had to leave work and school. This year I had 60% success with regimen. Recently the symptoms have gotten worse again. Let's help each other.

Yes me too. And like you the docs say all's well.

For me it's normally only in POIS. Sometimes, if I have other infections in the area (like hemorhoids) or something, the prostate can act up a bit.

Lately, even in POIS the prostate hasn't acted up much, but it varies. Although I've been restricting orgasm to once, and SOMETIMES twice a month.

WITHOUT RESEARCH THERE WILL BE NO CURE!
Sessions 5 to 9 days, mostly Flu-like, joints, digestion problems, light cognitive.
Niacin has changed my lif though, now 1 day MAX.
Somewhere in this interaction with Niacin is the answer!

Jon, when I started taking saw palmetto capsules my penile/groin pain while in POIS went away almost completely and urinating and bowel movements became much easier. One 540mg capsule a day is enough for me. I noticed this effect within about 2 days of taking it, but I suspect it takes effect immediately.
Taking ginger tea, no wheat, fenugreek+green tea/garlic, saw palmetto, niacin, boswellia, huperzine, B complex and nutmeg. See my treatment summary post for more info: http://poiscenter.com/forums/index.php?topic=81.msg3513#msg3513
