My testicles are the root of the problem.
« on: April 13, 2014, 04:20:41 PM »
I don't know about you guys... but I'm pretty sure my testicles are the root of all my POIS symptoms.

They're in bad shape, man. Back in 2008, they started getting smaller for no reason. My libido decreased, my semen volume decreased, and I developed more and more symptoms of low testosterone (something that is manufactured in the testicles) as time went on.

The whole appearance of them has changed, too... they don't "hang" like they used to. The pubic hair on my scrotum has turned white. The area above the testicles (where the seminal cords join my body, to the left and right of the penis) is constantly "swollen". For the first time EVER, I'm even able to push them BACK UP INTO MY BODY... just like a child with undescended testicles. It's pretty fucked up.

I guess the thing that prompted this post was... I masturbated today. And I just got the feeling that maybe... maybe there's something BAD in my semen? Like, not allergy wise... but like heavy metal wise? Like there's mercury or aluminum in my semen, which my body KNOWS is bad for it... so it tries to make the testicles atrophy. And that's why those areas I talked about, where the seminal cords join the body, are constantly swollen? And maybe that's why whenever I have an orgasm, that "bad stuff" goes right into my body and messes up the nerves in my digestive tract and in my brain.

Yeah, crazy, theory, I know. I just had to vent.

Affected since Sept 2008. Very gradual onset of symptoms: Testicular atrophy, low libido, brain fog, lethargy, depression, digestion issues. Worsening of all symptoms the 3-4 days post orgasm.

Hum...doesn't sounds fun...My testicles are normal and not sure I've read somebody here with the same problem that you ; Have you seen an urologist about that ?

I suspected aluminium to be a part of POIS puzzle ; I drink now a lot of volvic water, it contains high level of silica which bound to Al and eliminate it through urine with potentially a possibility to suck it out your cells ; Probably helped me even if difficult to isolate the effect ; always subjective

thanks for the reply man ... yeah I saw a urologist, and he said "everything was normal", fine, etc... ALTHOUGH that was like 3 years ago. Maybe it would be more obvious now.

Well that's cool to hear about Volvic! I drink it every day ! *drinks*  ;D

Anyway... my musings just tie in with my usual theory that it's all down to Low Testosterone. But I've tried every natural testosterone booster you can name (which are all aimed at naturally boosting the size, health, and function of your testicles), and just NOTHING happens. It's pretty disheartening.

Ah well... I'll find something one day! I was feeling pretty shitty the whole evening, but I just watched a marathon of comedian videos on YouTube, and ... there's nothing like a belly laugh to make you feel better  :D

Yeah you are right, laughing and being positive is a key for daily POIS management.

I've been investigated also testosterone theory ; Made a first test with pretty low T and Free T under the range  ; But 3/4 other one later was normal.

We could have abnormal change of T level but I believe it's not the cause of all this;

I had them tested years ago, and they were in the normal range.

However, I intend to go back to the Urologist as soon as I can, and get a complete hormone panel done... perhaps my levels will have gotten worse since the last examination, and finally he will believe me!  ::)

I didn't believe it in 2008.

But I firmly believe it now.

(In my case :) )

10 years of significant POIS-reduction, treatment consisting of daily (365 days/year) testosterone patches.

TRT must be checked out carefully with your doctor due to fertility, cardiac and other risks.

40+ years of severe 4-days-POIS, married, raised a family, started/ran a business

While in a POIS attack, my testicles often shrink - decrease in size and sometimes get totally into the body, I can't find them or touch them at all. Then spontaneously they restore size. They are not shrunk during the whole duration of the POIS attack, but at certain times during the attack. The shrink also after some physical activity.

Such a shrinking of testicles has not been described anywhere as part of the POIS symptoms. I explained it once to a urologist but he said this is not possible.

Maybe there is a bad reproductive system microbiome or accumulation of something else and it's there for a long time so during sexual activities some of it gets released causing allergenic inflammatory immune reactions as the body tries to contain it has someone tested themselves for toxins, heavy metals and such or done prostate and overall reproductive system microbiome tests?

Mercury has an affinity for fatty tissues in organs and has a long half-life in many internal organs and is a powerful neurotoxin.

If it were the case that you were jizzing out mercury/aluminium, then you should see consistant improvement over time as you jizz more and more out. Since that is not true, it seems unlikely.

Seems more likely that mercury/aluminium are damaging and disrupting your bodies normal response to an orgasm/ejaculation, causing POIS.
