Hmmm my mother got many varicose veins in her legs. I wonder if something similar causes reactions in my lower legs when applying heat (even a blanket is enough, you can feel activity, sometimes it pricks), something going on with the veins and circulatory system.

Are varicose veins the same as varicoceles?

Why do these folks get varicoceles in the first place? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Varicocele

HOD mentioned one time about feeling something in his scrotum, thinking of a lymph node, but this might actually be a varicocele.
https://poiscenter.com/forums/index.php?topic=3028.0

This might be a red flag. Perhaps it may be caused by POIS. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Varicose_veins

Hmm me and my mother also have problems of sitting in 90 degree angles.

''Varicose veins are more common in women than in men and are linked with heredity.[11] Other related factors are pregnancy, obesity, menopause, aging, prolonged standing, leg injury and abdominal straining. Varicose veins are unlikely to be caused by crossing the legs or ankles.[12] Less commonly, but not exceptionally, varicose veins can be due to other causes, such as post-phlebitic obstruction or incontinence, venous and arteriovenous malformations.[13]

Venous reflux is a significant cause. Research has also shown the importance of pelvic vein reflux (PVR) in the development of varicose veins. Varicose veins in the legs could be due to ovarian vein reflux.[14][15] Whiteley and his team reported that both ovarian and internal iliac vein reflux causes leg varicose veins and that this condition affects 14% of women with varicose veins or 20% of women who have had vaginal delivery and have leg varicose veins.[16] In addition, evidence suggests that failing to look for and treat pelvic vein reflux can be a cause of recurrent varicose veins.[17]

There is increasing evidence for the role of incompetent perforator veins (or "perforators") in the formation of varicose veins.[18] and recurrent varicose veins.[19]

Varicose veins could also be caused by hyperhomocysteinemia in the body, which can degrade and inhibit the formation of the three main structural components of the artery: collagen, elastin and the proteoglycans. Homocysteine permanently degrades cysteine disulfide bridges and lysine amino acid residues in proteins, gradually affecting function and structure. Simply put, homocysteine is a 'corrosive' of long-living proteins, i.e. collagen or elastin, or lifelong proteins, i.e. fibrillin. These long-term effects are difficult to establish in clinical trials focusing on groups with existing artery decline. Klippel?Trenaunay syndrome and Parkes?Weber syndrome are relevant for differential diagnosis.

Another cause is chronic alcohol consumption due to the vasodilatation side effect in relation to gravity and blood viscosity.
''

If it is POIS causing this it might degrade collagen, elastin, proteoglycans. I also get the impression having problems myself with increased blood viscosity btw, feeling of circulation coming to a halt en sometimes drawing blood is difficult.

(antibiotic tratmant hypotheses again).

What I will try to do, is post a full explanation of my theory, what I did, how I think it worked, etc.  for the forum - - on the “Animus solution" thread...in the next few days if possible..!

Thanks, Animus!

Hey Animus. I?m new here. I wanted to know if it would be possible to tell me how to find out which doctor did your procedure for you. I?ve been suffering with P.O.I.S for years. Whenever I get an orgasm, I have bad short term memory, difficulty understanding and speaking, and always a cluster headache on the left side peripheral of the brain. I?m 37 years and I live in Miami. I?m actually on some medications now but they are not really helping. I got a ct scan, and mri, mra and an EEG done and even got other tests on my prostate and bladder and the results came out to be negative. I?ve seen several doctors like a neurologist, an endocrinologist, a urologist, an allergist, and other doctors but they were all unsuccessful at diagnosing me. I wouldn?t mind traveling anywhere just to get the same procedure that you got done. I?m really tired of suffering. I know it?s not a guaranteed that I will be cured and I know there might be sexual dysfunction but I?m willing to take the risk. Any reply would be greatly appreciated. Thx

Please don't do it.
Try other possible solutions from this forum first.
Easy stuff like taking vitamins/minerals,
more planned stuff like taking pre-packs or taking herbs afterwards.
Or even more advanced stuff like trying certain anti-depressants
BEFORE YOU DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS.

But I passed along your message to Animus, and he said you can email him if you wish. I left his email address in your Private Message, Lamartine001.

This morning - - in his email to me - -
ANIMUS agrees
with my following statement:

This approach is unproven, risky and possibly even dangerous.

Hi Lamartine,

You can check at https://poiscenter.com/forums/index.php?topic=2338.msg19448#msg19448, you will find there 18 methods that have been proven to help with POIS symptoms.
Those methods are either totally safe or relatively very safe.  At any rate, they are all much safer than surgery.

castration and this procedure is permanent, so caution

I would like to point out that Animus had a painful lump on one of his testicles.  This abnormality may be the reason why the surgery was effective, it is a fact to consider.

You are absolutely right about being very, very cautious with this procedure.
