Sperm accidentally got in my eyes causing severe burning.

It is pretty silly but i want to share it non the less.
In porn films, sometimes guys ending up coming all over the face of the partner, with blobs of sperm literally covering the eyes.
Sometimes, right before going to sleep, i rubbing my eyes with my hands, with hands having a little amount of dried out and not even noticeable sperm.
And it causing very severe burning in my eyes, with my eyes going red and in need to wash them out to actually end up burning effect. having the same amount of sperm, ending up in my eyes as the girls do in films, i would go blind because of the burned cornea.
May be it is actually pretty normal to have this kind of sperm and this burning effect, i don't know. or some chemical aspect of it is wrong with me and... just sharing

Interesting. Possibly related anecdote: I've got what seems like perpetual inflammation on the head of my penis, except the tip. Red and sore all the time. Before I realised this is connected to my POIS, I went to a urologist about the inflammation there specifically. He prescribed a hydrocortisone cream. I used the cream for a few weeks (while abstinent) and the redness and soreness almost completely went away. Then I tried an orgasm again, and BOOM -- the penis head was once again red and inflamed-looking. Not sure how fast it returned, but definitely within the same day.

I am starting to have a suspicion that redness of the head (in my case i guess it is the opposite, i have redness around a hole of a penis) , that stays for more than (?8?12?or more?didn't actually tried to stopwatch it yet) and weak burning/disturbing sensation in my penis for a few hours is not that usual/normal to have after orgasm and related not to blood flood but to some sort of POIS inflammation. It is not very disturbing and i don't have much problem with it but I think i have the same effect too.

May be it is not something actually complicated happening in our bodies, may be it is just straight up sperm are very acidic/alkaline or some shit like this and when it trying to dissolve all, along the way of it flow when it is released, our body just going through inflammatory response or something when it sees what shit happening to us and it responding the only way it knows how. and we end up where we are.

Does we actually done some tests and comparisons of POIS sperm compared to normal not on a level of hormones and stuff but on a level of a straight chemistry?

The weird thing about my penis inflammation is that once was reintroduced by having an orgasm, it stuck around perpetually, even though I was abstinent again for many weeks after.

AFAIK no organised lab testing on any significant scale has been done yet. That's part of what's exciting about the upcoming NORD study into POIS.

Yeah for me as well this penis inflammation in itself is not a big issue, but it seems like an interesting clue as to what's going on. Personally I have lots of different inflammation-like symptoms, the penis thing is just one of them.
