Is pois some type of fibromyalgia?
« on: December 21, 2020, 09:36:34 AM »
Today in the early state of a POIS episode I felt very fatigued after standing up for 20 minutes and cleaning kitchen it felt like my muscles can barely have any energy and strength and as if my body was slouching, when I am stressed, have not slept or eaten enough and in general have unresolved mental baggage weight then all of the things including POIS and the background symptoms get worse and I overall feel more fatigued, brainfogged. I notice when I drink kefir or more liquids in general the weird nauseated dizzy light headed POTS fatigued fibromyalgia type of sensations decrease, my whole body feels drained in the earliest state of a POIS episode and the older I get the worse all of that seems to get and the medicine of course has paid little attention to POIS even though they have all the technologies needed to discover the underlying imbalances that are causing POIS it feels like on a cellular level the ATP production is always inhibited and my body never reaches peak energy production no matter what.

I would think more CFS than Fibro. I had POIS for years, but overdoing it physically or even mentally could cause me similar POIS style crashes. Unfortunately my latest one has lasted years - my muscles always feel like that now and I'm unable to stand up unaided for more than 30-60 seconds at a time.
