Maybe I ask what the medicine is that you're taking? Might corelate with what some others on the forum write.
For nearly a decade the doctors prescribed many antidepressants to me, all the usual suspects. They did little to nothing for me. Recently a psychiatrist diagnosed me with bipolar and prescribed Vraylar as a mood stabilizer and Seroquil for anxiety, but the Vraylar gave me inner restlessness (couldn't sit still or keep an attention span for long). I just got on Lamictal which seems to be better but it's still very early. It's still a work in progress right now but I've made huge personal progress in the past decade.
I also take Melatonin at night before bedtime to get me ready for sleep.
Learning to breathe, to relax, has been very helpful. Sleep is probably the single most important thing. Without sleep, the body cannot renew itself each day. I recommend that everyone get a Sleep Test (home or at a sleep center) to see if you need a CPAP for sleep apnea
