Skin symptoms
« on: August 19, 2019, 04:14:20 PM »
Question -- does anybody else get a single dry pimple (no whitehead or pus) on their dick after sex or orgasm?  When I first encountered POIS last year I assumed I had finally contracted an STD or molloscum because of the pimple and testicular and lower abdomen pain (dull, heavy) that accompanied it.  At the time I was disregarding the joint pain and cognitive symptoms as unrelated.  Physicians, dermatologists examined it at the time and were sure it was not an STD and a full panel of tests confirmed negative.

In any event, I have concluded that the pimple is caused by direct contact with seminal fluid and have since been very careful to avoid prolonged contact.  Had not really had a pimple or the ball pain as a regular recurring symptom despite many many POIS events of varying duration.   5 days ago had an O and low and behold the pimple and ball pain have returned.  Pimple does not appear to be on a hair follicle per se but I understand some of you all have a folliculitis, which I'm sure can sit on a blocked pore with or without hair follicle.  It seems like that's what this could be.

Anyone else observe a similar pattern?

Hi OpiesDad,
I have posted some years ago a picture of my arm after contact with my semen. I get a lot of small red pimples. When I was younger, I had some episode of "wet dreams" and when I woke up, the contact with semen gave me large red areas on my skin.

My opinion is semen is "irritating" not "allergic". I don't think it's the cause of Pois symptoms. Not sure.
