I must say, I'm pretty skeptical about this diet. Like others have said, even if it has some effect on our symptoms, it could lead to a tremendous nutritional imbalance which leaves you worse off.
But hey, maybe there's something to it. If more members tried this diet for at least a month, I'd reckon I might give it a shot.
I was in the same boat as you so I searched for people who have tried this diet for a long period whom have some sort of autoimmune disease, people seem to have alot of success with it, though I couldn't find anyone whom has POIS and does this diet.
I'm naturally quite skeptically but I just want this disease to stop and I've tried many other things and it seems like people can live healthy off of meat only. I thought those people are batpoo but thought I have nothing to lose if I try it, so I did.
I've been on this diet for over 2 months so far, it seems my POIS symptoms have lessened but not gone completely, I recover much much quicker from POIS and the symptoms are not as severe.
Interesting things that have happened so far:
- Energy levels are generally up in POIS or not
- My skin is alot alot healthier, I used to suffer from acne and still get it in my day to day life, that's all gone now
- Mood is up
- I used to get bad dandruff, this is completely gone
I don't think these things are placebo, I'm very "intune" with my body since I usually meditate 1-3 hours a day and have done for 2 years now, so I would like to think I'm pretty good at noticing even slight changes in my body.
My vitamin D levels are also super low (the one vitamin that is in barely any amounts in any food), so I've been experimenting with pretty high dose vitamin D to quickly get my levels up along with cofactors (I'm talking anywhere from 20000+ IU per day), I've only been doing it a week but there has been some very interesting effects:
- I've been getting alot hornier
- I feel more "reactive" to what's going on around me, I can be quite emotionally flat, whereas now I seem to be laughing more etc
- My sleep seems to be more restorative
I think once my vit D is where it needs to be, my symptoms will have gone, because it seems like the symptoms are slowly vanishing.
I'll keep everyone posted on how it turns out.
Well acording to diet , ewryibody is diferent(my opinion), due to genetic and microbiota, life style etc...

What is intrestin that white industry breads is going bad on my stomach and digestion, but if i took them out complitly from diet (gluten free diet) this allso bring nothing to my owerall health and pois.
lots of people seem to have reactions to butter, some fruits, and vegetable oils, literally some people on this diet eat nothing but beef, water, and salt. Not to mention that there is also an adaptation phase that can last up to 2 months, but is usually done with in the first 3-4 weeks that can temporarily decrease your energy and make you feel weaker.
