what is RFP ? Thanks.

Request For Proposals, e.g., NORD has issued an RFP for POIS, sent to all doctors, institutions, etc., who might possibly study POIS. The RFP is to study POIS with payment (our money that we raised!) up to $31,000.

b_jim, our full POISCenter RFP is shown in the link below.

From my previous post:

============================================================
Therefore...*please* send this link below to a doctor you trust and/or to a researcher you can contact who you think would be a good candidate to study POIS:

RFP: (NORD’s Request for Proposal)

Many thanks and best wishes to us all!

Hi all. I tried to use Lecitin. In general it good influences on me.
Firstly, it reduce my pain in joints (joints sometimes crunch, and i felt pain in knees).
2)  My weigh increased . it is good for me, because i usually had low weigh .

But i have some problem with lecitin. 2 weeks after taking a get some pain in small of the back.(May be it means overdose of Choline? Hi Rinat,

Lecithin seems very beneficial for you.   Just know that It is a lipophilic substance, so it can accumulate in the body.  When you begin to feel this pain in your back, I suggest you take a break and stop taking lecithin until the pain disappears.  You can then begin to take some lecithin again, maybe at a lower dose, and stop again whenever you have that back pain, which may be a sign that your body currently have enough in reserve.  You can stop supplementing lecithin for a time without losing the benefits, because you have lecithin accumulated in your body fats, which will be liberated when you stop taking more of it through supplements.   When the pain disappears, that means you have used up the lecithin in excess in your body, so you can slowly resume to take some of it.

For me, healing begins by leaving the vagus nerve healthy.
I believe the vagus nerve uses too much acetylcholine when it is not working well. Our body ends up spending all the available stocks of this neurotransmitter trying to compensate for the bad activity of the vagus nerve and we get less levels of this neurotransmitter. It's like trying to gasoline in a car that has 4 tires with holes in it. For the car to ride, it will spend more gas.
When orgasm occurs our body needs acetylcholine to reestablish functions to compensate for the adrenaline load that is produced during orgasm. At this time of recovery, the level of acetylcholine is so low that the functions that depend on this neurotransmitter turn out to be difficult (muscle weakness, nausea...). As the vagus nerve is the main nerve of the parasympathetic and this system controls our inflammation, we feel all these immune reactions that are mediated by excessive activities of mast cells and histamine. A vague nerve that is not healthy can not balance the excessive activity of inflammation.
My POIS only happens with masturbation. Normal sex does not generate POIS symptoms. My POIS is related to me mood and the health of my cervical spine. Dopamine/Inflammation/Body constitution (genetics) are factors that contribute to POIS.
