Why won't niacin work?
« on: December 01, 2016, 12:40:34 PM »
So when I first started trying niacin a few months ago I would get insane flushes. My face would get tomato red, and my skin would get a burning sensation, and I'd get that big rush feeling. I started realizing from what other people were saying on the forums that it works best on an empty stomach. But now no matter when I take niacin I don't get a flush at all. I only take one pill maybe 2-3 times a week to experiment, always on empty stomachs and nothing happens.
Is it still being effective even thought I don't feel any flush?

I have been abstaining from orgasm for months now. I know most people use niacin BEFORE an orgasm to prevent symptoms. But I am currently going through horrible symptoms from a nocturnal emission that happened 21 days ago (I think i have the longest symptoms out of anyone on the forums). Can niacin help reduce symptoms after orgasm?

Neutral  - curious to know how you're doing. Have you had any success with any listed treatment ideas on this forum?

I have had great success with the following combination. No idea which one's are working and which do nothing but I take them all to be safe because it worked initially - nearly total relief, if taken 1-1.5 hours before 'o'. Vitamin's B1, B6, B12, B3 (all high potency by 'Natures Own'), Vitamin C (1000 mg), Vitamin E (blackmores), Fenugreek (1000 mg), Alfalfa (2 capsules). Yep, this is a shitload of tablets to take but who the hell cares if it works. The B3 I take is no flush (by Natures Way).

Last week I tried to take the B3 on it's own, without anything else, but released 2 hours after taking it (stupid, I know). POIS symptoms were totally back.

Why not give that a try and if it doesn't work give Quantum's pre-pack a try.

My symptoms are also unbearable - can't function, brain fog, anxiety, depression, low energy, no motivation. It's hell. 2 full days of POIS, sorry to hear yours is a lot worse...

Keep us posted. I hope you give those pre-packs a try a.s.a.p to see how they work... by taking all of them at once, you have a much greater chance of getting at least some relief... then by process of elimination you can figure out which ones are working. If you only take 1, e.g. Niacin, it may do nothing...

Give it a try!!!
All the best.

Hey Michael,
So I was wondering do you take Alfafa as a calming factor ? Because I noticed that Zinc is quiet claiming for anxiety and inflammation for me. Because I'm thinking about purchasing Zinc instead of Alfafa. Or are the =y completely different supplements ?
