Hi All,

Since a few of you have reported allergic and/or autoimmune conditions of the skin, I thought you might find this interesting, from the American Mircrobiome Institute -- http://tinyurl.com/p94xfyb. The pubmed link to the study abstract is http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25968453.

The mice had "induced" atopic dermatitis (the researchers induced the dermatitis in the lab). While not a a human study, mice have immune systems that are remarkably similar to humans. The lactobacillus strain used in the study was very specific, but apparently is found in yogurt.

Best wishes,
Stef

  • All of us working together to defeat POIS!

With info like this, maybe one day I'll understand the extreme numbness of all my 10 fingertips when in POIS' grip.
10 years of significant POIS-reduction, treatment consisting of daily (365 days/year) testosterone patches.

TRT must be checked out carefully with your doctor due to fertility, cardiac and other risks.

40+ years of severe 4-days-POIS, married, raised a family, started/ran a business

You're welcome, Colm!

FYI for everyone here -- a nutritionist friend suggested I take a look at this website -- http://nutritionfacts.org/. I've scanned through it and read a few articles. I think it might be a helpful and informative site for those of you looking for current nutrition information.
