Hi Everyone,

You may have noticed that demo has barely posted over the past few weeks, and has been totally absent over the past 4-5 days.

Demo had been fighting a flare-up of diverticulitis. He'd been hospitalized for a few days because if it, ~  3 weeks ago, and was discharged after three days of IV antibiotics. But he hasn't really felt well since then.

Long story short, demo had to be admitted to the ICU this morning. He's very sick, being treated for severe diverticulitis.

I've contacted the hospital several times to try to learn how he's doing, and left messages of love and support. Demo eventually did manage to send Daveman and me a very brief email, just a short while ago -- 2 sentences (I'm betting his wife typed it for him), just to let us know that he's too sick to send emails or speak by phone.

Daveman and I will keep you posted if there are any changes, which hopefully will be changes for the best!!  In the meantime, we wanted to let you all know what's been happening with your ever-faithful and dedicated moderator, demografx.

I'm sending him a teddy bear tonight -- maybe it will bring a little smile.

Turmeric and Rosemary 30-45 minutes before orgasm for anti-inflammatory and immune support has helped me a lot. Faster and easier than niacin approach.

Demo, am very much hoping that the doctors are helping you with the pains of your condition, and will have you in recovery very soon. You are missed a lot here, so get well and make sure you look after yourself  before you feel any need to post here.

Used to have brain fog, flue-like symptoms, un-refreshing sleep, extreme exhaustion, muscle and joint pain, digestive problems, social anxiety, urge to urinate frequently.
Used niacin in the past. Now using nanna1's maintenance stack. Exhaustion and brain fog now main problem. 3-day POIS cycle

Hi All.

I just got off the phone with demo's wife, who has been by his side almost non-stop in the ICU...and who is just terrific. She told me about what's gone on these past few days, and all I can say is -- she's exactly what he needs to make it though this ordeal.

He had MAJOR surgery two days ago. It will be a while until he's able to get back on the forum. He's still in the ICU, but stable, and it sounds like he's progressing as expected. This is good news!

Demo's wife then suddenly handed the phone to him, and he and I talked for a few minutes. He sounds fragile but it's to be expected. He's on a ton of pain meds.

I told him that there are some wonderful comments from you men that he''ll get to read, and he was really touched -- overwhelmed is more like it. (I got a bit choked up just telling him.)

You all know that he'll be reading every single message as soon as he can manage it!

It's been a nightmare, but he's going to pull through. And he'll be back on this forum -- with his graphics, welcome messages, and everything else that he's known for.

All of you -- take good care of yourselves! You're a wonderful group of men.

Amazing. I choked up just now myself... glad to hear he's recovering, and glad to hear our messages of support mean so much to him!!!

Great news, Everyone!

Demo texted -- he's out of the ICU, is in a regular hospital room, and will soon be eating ice cream. :-) :-)

Some of his texts were funny -- so his sense of humor is absolutely intact, despite this harrowing experience.

He's using his mobile phone and texted me with the great news. For some reason, he can't log onto the forum -- he says it's got something to do with his mobile phone signal from the hospital. They often have strong firewall systems, so that may be the issue.

(One of his first texts was, "Is the forum working? I can't log on.")

He's able to use his email, but needs to log onto SMF to get his PMs. Just letting you know, in case some of you have sent him PMs and he's not replying.

I copied and pasted your "get better" posts and sent them to him.  He texted back with this message: "You can tell the guys I cried over each and every message!"

Hopefully he'll be out of the hospital and back online very soon!
