I tried some sublingual vitamin b12 tablets just yesterday.  They did not improve my POIS symptoms which were present after I had an only partially successful niacin treatment, and actually made me feel pretty crappy.  I don't want to take them anymore.  There is a salon near me which offers vitamin b12 shots, and if I am having symptoms on a day they have their b12 nurse around I'll take it and let you guys know.

Otherwise, I am setting an appointment up with a research oriented neurologist in my town to ask him about my sensitivities to medications.  I will be sure to tell him about POIS and B6 and what it might be doing to our nervous system.

I also have a contact within the NIH (National Institutes of Health) who saw me about 2 years ago for my treatment-resistant depression.  I will be writing him an email in hopes that he could refer me to someone who would be interested to hear about POIS.  I feel it's a long shot, but what the heck it's only and email :)
Turmeric and Rosemary 30-45 minutes before orgasm for anti-inflammatory and immune support has helped me a lot. Faster and easier than niacin approach.

It doesn't work that way Nightingale. I read that if someone has B12 deficiency the symptoms can come a few years later. So if vitamin B12 is the key it may take years before you can notice the difference. I am sure that I had B12 deficiency because I used to be a vegetarian for 15 years.
POIS since 2000. Very bad since 2008. I knew that I have POIS since June 2010. Desensitization since March 2011. I stopped with desens in July 2016. I have 50% less POIS. And only 1 day of POIS. Purified CBD works for me, but I am allergic for CBD.

I have a feeling that the B12 is more of a longer term treatment. Also just as with the niacin, it could take a while to figure out the exact procedure that works (if there is one)
WITHOUT RESEARCH THERE WILL BE NO CURE!
Sessions 5 to 9 days, mostly Flu-like, joints, digestion problems, light cognitive.
Niacin has changed my lif though, now 1 day MAX.
Somewhere in this interaction with Niacin is the answer!

My brewer's yeast had just arrived.
I'd try it tomorrow morning.
It contains lots of B6 and other B-complex.
I couldn't take B-complex pill.
It somehow worsened my POIS symptoms.

I couldn't take B-complex either. It worst my POIS.

The other one you take improve your symptoms?

Ya, I start taking brewer's yeast last month.
It doesn't cure my POIS but it helps in a more specific way.
My POIS is accompanied with sleeping disorder, namely I kind of have delayed sleep phase syndrome.
After taking just a few flakes of brewer's yeast (by Lesaffre, France) each night before I go to bed, and one capsule of niacin (Nature's Way 100mg) every four days in the morning, I have much better sleep, and the nocturnal emission that I used to have is substantially lessened.
I'm planning to try Vit-B1, B3, B6, and B12 in near future, because I think it is the vitamin B in the yeast that helps, but they have to be in the right proportion.
Let's experiment them together.
It started ever since my first orgasm. It lasts exactly for 7 days. Symptoms mainly in the brain: extreme mental  fatigue, difficulty concentrating, inability to comprehend/retain what is read,shortened attention span, loss of speech fluency, cloudy mindedness, mild headache, and anxiousness

Very interesting, 0002ppdnuos and fidalgo!

It just shows how unique everyone is.

I don't think it means that POIS is a different disorder for each of you (or for most of you) -- just that ALL OF US have different body chemistries, different reactions to vitamins, etc.

Just as an aside, Vitamin B complex -- in normal, standard doses -- gave me insomnia! And I consider myself to be pretty healthy.

It's soooooo important to post what works, what doesn't -- so keep doing it!!!

I don't much about Brewer's yeast -- it may be very different from the usual B vitamins.  Will have to read up on it.

Folks, as they say, it's complicated having two forums and having to repeat!

We have to unite under one forum, and THIS one is ours.

The other one is starting to restrict us. It is a forum that is read by women and children and they generally don't like sexual content.

They have let it go, but there are those who would prefer NOT to have a POIS thread over there.

We can't modify code, do back ups, add chats or enhance it. It is restricted to one single thread.

We are our own bosses here, we have freedom of movement and capacity do build and create.

Please unite over here.

The days of NSF are passing.

Thank you.

Well-said, Daveman!

I actually keep forgetting that NSF exists! Cannot remember the last time I looked there.
