wow... sorry to read that. I hope you can overcome it eventually. At least people won't blame you because they understand that a doctor's life is not easy.
If you want to look on the bright side, think about the fact that you have a job, because that's an important point, some people like me don't even have a job. In my case I wouldn't even feel like going to work because my pois symptoms make me 200% antisocial and I look like shit, as if I haven't slept in 3 years.

So you at least can still live a productive life, despite of the ups and downs.

Good luck mate.

Ooh , just dont surrender to those bad feelings you can overcome it and get a job even if you have to take anxiolytic medication
What i really feel is that every poiser is 100 % creative person and pois is limiting the creativity but eventually this will shine up after getting medication that relieve our stress and anxiety induced by pois . Am sorry for those desprate feelings that i have shared but i believe that every illness has a treatment either palliative or curative we just have to work hard on getting them ,

Labyrinth,
I can totally identify with this issue, particularly during POIS.

The most helpful thing that I have found when dealing with individuals at meetings, is using "MindMaps" to record key points in a meeting. I do this because my memory does not work well and I will foget most of what I heard, or else in POIS, I just cannot focus. Having a MindMap from my last meeting to refer to, means I can always look back at this and it helps my recall.

This technique works well if you need to be, or are working in an analytical capacity.

Worth a 'Google' or look up You Tube Videos on mind mapping. Tony Buzan I think was one of the main creators of the technique. http://www.tonybuzan.com/

Although he talks about using colours and graphics, you can just use it for making key notes using just one pen, and writing key words for memory aid.

Good luck !

Hello everyone
I read the posts about brain fog on a normal day without pois.i too used to have that. One forum Member adviced me to take resveratrol. After starting on resveratrol, my brain fog on a non pois day started to lift, i was able to think well, i started to understand what my parents used to say to me. But dont expect it to be a miracle drug for pois. I have to take it for a long time for it to help in pois, but i surely noticed drastically reduced duration of pois after nocturnal emission. But a forum member got complete pois cure with resveratrol. I used to feel sorry for myself for being an idiot, i feel sorry for people with pois. Do your own research about resveratrol. Dont take heavy doses of resveratrol(i.e. 1000 to 3000 mg/day) it can cause renal.failure. But it is safe to take it daily at a dose below 300 mg/day. Read this report http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2990065/
Many people find resveratrol helpful.
Let us Make the world.a.better place. If any poiser gets relief please dont forget how much we suffered and so help others. What if we were meant to be dumb and somehow we get relief from pois then let us not forget our past and also let us make the world a better place.
See before i started taking resveratrol, i used to crave for help, i will ask for everyones help, i was desperate for a help. I believe that there may be people like me who deeply crave a help for brain fog, i wish to help them. I wholeheartedly thank the forum member who adviced me to take resveratrol.

Resveratrol (3,5,4'-trihydroxy-trans-stilbene) is a stilbenoid, a type of natural phenol, and a phytoalexin produced naturally by several plants in response to injury or when the plant is under attack by pathogens such as bacteria or fungi.
It works by reducing inflammatory mediators in the body.
