How do you cope with relationships?
« on: March 09, 2013, 06:36:51 PM »
I've never had a girlfriend for a long time. If I ever got close with a girl (after no masturbating for 2-3 weeks), suddenly have the urge to masturbate thinking about her. Then because of POIS, I would get insane brainfog and completely be a zombie around her. Which means, I lose interest in her and she loses interest in me.

This makes it impossible for me to make anyone like me.

Fortunately I have a very understanding wife. I've described her the problem in detail and is very sympathetic, patient and supportive (not all women I've known would wait to have sex once in 2 weeks!).

I believe that if your other half really loves you, she will stand by your side no matter what.

Very sad to read about that Suppertime. Just explain to her what you have, and hopefully she will understand. I know that before I told my current girlfriend she was a little confused about why I felt so quiet and stressed after sex until I explained to her what was wrong and showed her the forums. Don't worry too much because hopefully we'll get some really good research in the near future to figure out exactly what causes our symptoms and how to stop them for good.

I am 27 years old and have never been in a relationship. Pois isn't the only reason but it definitely contributes.
I have both physical and psychological symptoms for about 6 days. Muscle soreness, pain in the prostate and warmth in the pelvic area, fatigue, lack of motivation, irritability, confusion, inability to focus, forgetting obligations, difficulty communicating, difficulty interacting with others.

Not only no girlfriends, but no friends. I have difficulty socializing, mainly because I am boiling with anger and hate (POIS changes my mood drastically). I usually have to keep to myself because any slight confrontation makes me want to explode. Nobody understands me nor cares.
Thanks to POIS I see most women now a days are selfish, materialistic prostitutes that I hate and only want sex from . I have become misanthropic and in the free time that I saved (because I never go in search of sex nor get to get drunk or drugged)I realized many things about that made aware of the kind world that I live in; which made me feel more tense and helpless. With sex out of the equation I feel empty... dumb, yet true.

I recently got married to a wonderful woman.  I thought POIS wouldn't affect us, but while in POIS we always get into horrendous arguements.  I decided to experiment and she agreed not to have sex for a month and see what happens.  I feel so much better, but the lack of sex for her is not working.  What to do?

For your family and significant others watch below and they will know that it is not in your head.  And try Niacin - its worked for many - used advanced search on these forums to find where to buy it, how much and when to take it.  The "when" is very important.  Id say a miracle.  Some say they have no POIS with Niacin.  My husband is now free from nausea, brain fog, itchy eyes, pains....but still has the headaches (something he can easily live with)
