How old are you and when you got POIS, was anything different in life when you got it, what are your symptoms?

I have Fordyce spots on my lips and penis. I wonder if it's related to keratosis pilaris which I also have in various places like my arms. My facial acne also involves hard plugs of sebum/keratin too. I'm glad you posted this because I wanted to ask the same question. I was wondering if intestinal malabsorbtion of fats is the cause of the spots.

There are no studies indicating a direct correlation between gluten ingestion and keratosis pilaris ( chicken skin). However, it can be caused by vitamin A deficiency or essential fatty acid deficiency, both of which can occur with impaired absorption.

I'm 26. My 'full blown' POIS started in April this year but I can recall having milder POIS reactions since I was 21/22. From ages 13-19 my sexual function was completely normal. I started having sexual relations at 19, since then had contracted HPV and HHV, which makes me believe that my POIS might have been triggered by either of these viruses.

The Fordyce Spots on my upper lip developed mid September and right around that time I also developed a Granuloma Annulare on my leg and a Paresthesia of fingertips. I have no idea what caused them. I'm on nanna1's stack since late July. I've been on Trimethoprim (for prostate pain) through entire August. But maybe the pre-workout powder I used to take had given me these, I used UK version of C4 Ultimate but quit it because it contained L-Arginine, which apparently benefits HHV replication.

My most persistent POIS symptoms are headaches, pain in heart, chest, lower back, spine, prostate, glans and left testicle, photosensitivity, drop in body temperature, depression, balanoposthitis and urethritis. But I also have out of POIS symptoms like fatigue, tinnitus, hyperacusis, inner ear pain, dry eyes, joint pain and muscle pain.

It seems either some got none or at least fordyce spots or both at this moment none has voted having ppp only. I wonder if fordyce spots could be related.

"Fordyce spots are small yellowish or white spots on the head or shaft of the penis. Fordyce spots are sebaceous glands (tiny glands found near the surface of your skin) without hair follicles. They can also appear on the inside of the cheeks or on the lips, and are present in 80 to 95% of adults. Fordyce spots are generally harmless and don't need treatment."
