Update on my possible POIS problem
« on: June 14, 2020, 04:04:54 PM »
Hi,

I have had 24/7 chronic headaches since the age of 14/15. These headaches started due to orgasm. They are only relieved with complete abstinence which is difficult but worth it. Interestingly wet dreams don't have a massive effect but conscious orgasm does make my headache worse.

At the moment I'm on prorpanolol 80mg per day which is due to go up to 160mg per day in 2 days time. Apart from headaches my other symptoms are difficulty thinking, foggy head and overall muscle tension. I've been on the propranolol for around 12 days, so far I haven't noticed any great effect. Admittedly I have been drinking alcohol too much and too often but even with abstinence this didn't affect my headaches.

Wet dreams happen at night. There is a peak in melatonin at night. I suspect it counters symptoms. You could try various anti-histamines for your headache.

Ani-histamines work? Have you tested them?

Are you still taking those meds? Or something else
