  • Following @Iwillbeatthis blue print for curin pois
I was wondering if it is possible to get diagnosed with POIS by a doctor. The fact is that POIS sometimes really affects my performance at university, and so, I feel I must have an extension for my coursework when I need it.
However, I’ve already spoken about POIS with three different doctors (2 in Spain, and one in England)  and every time I explain it  they don’t seem to recognise it as an illness, they look at me puzzled and maybe thinking that POIS is some pseudoscience unscientific term which they don’t recognise—and that I’ve auto-diagnosed myself).
I still haven’t asked any of them if they would give me a diagnosis so that I can give it to my uni, and so that it can count as Mitigating Circumstances.
Maybe not everyone feels like they would require an extension for university work. I think this is something worth discussing.
And also, I fear, this gets more complicated with work, because most of the times work must get done, and that's it.

Let me know about your thoughts  :)
Thank you community! I am no longer alone, with “unreal” symptoms.
I have hypothyroidism & constipation (toilet every 3 days or more). Worst constipations = more pois, & lots of mucus in the stools, or just mucus coming out.

There is a list with doctors that know about pois, if one is close to you, he or she might be able to help. Pm(quantum/demo)
You can also try an integrative doctors.

I had to take intelligence and some other test with a psychologist in order to get a letter that will let take a break from school without loosing my scholarship.  I went to the psychologist brain-fogged to the max.

  • Use Adaptogens and Antioxidants, they can help.
If headache is one of your symptoms (I only get them if I have too many orgasms):

Have you tried asking your doctor for indomethacin against Sexual Headache? (It's a "real" disease apparantly, not only a "syndrome" so your doctor could know it or look it up)

For me it works when taking it 1h before sex, but better ask the doctor on that. (Rest of fix can probably be done by diet, sleep, other supplements)

(Even if you don't get the headaches during sex but later like most POISlers, you could get your doctor to prescribe it)
