Worse sleep/stuffed nose at night/morning
« on: April 04, 2020, 03:27:33 AM »
I notice if I have an orgasm then when I sleep at night my muscles aren't as relaxed so it takes longer time to get body in that Melatoninic state which is felt when you're about to fall asleep so I usually roll on side, on back some times till muscles get relaxed and my breathing feels shallowish-nose gets stuffier and next morning my nose has more snot and a mucus drips from my nose in my throat-if I've abstained for a few days I sleep well and don't snot/mucus at night/morning.

If I get stressed out by anything my psoas muscle or another muscle in-between stomach/lower back area stiffs and it destiffs by yawning when I get urge to yawn naturally or when I automatically take a deep breath that destiffens it but if I sleep with it stiffened it puts my body in loop of small stress response-same as when I get stressful thoughts-any real or perceived stressor I get that results in stress response releases floater in eyes that appears for 2 seconds and goes away and my stomach makes a noise similar to the stereotypical hunger noise and it feels as a gas, liquid is released in stomach as after this stress-induced sound is made by stomach, a burp is released from my mouth and if stress response was bigger then a gas (fart) is released too. Once mind stops perceiving something stressful and the stress response stops, the stomach feeling stops too. In stronger stress scenarios my muscles can get less strong for a while.

The thing about the psoas or whatever the muscle is that tightens when stressed-it's that if I sleep with it not de-stiffened it makes my body have mini-fight or flight responses in loop and my stomach burps and if I don't automatically yawn or take a deep breath that pushes air through the muscle (while laying down it's harder than when sitting or standing up) then my body will keep looping the stress response and it can get intensified once my mind starts focusing on the fact that it's there which makes it go even longer and this auto mini stress response removes a part of the "sleepy Melatoninic" feeling that I get automatically when it gets close to my natural sleep time so I need to de-stiffen the muscle and get back the sleepy feeling again-if I sleep with the muscle not fully released I feel as I don't get so good sleep and wake up feeling groggy.

There are many other odd symptoms I might write about later.

Hi,
Interesting; I'm also convinced that the psoas muscle might play an essential role.
Yoga ver tried TRE ? Worth investigating!

I've read of TRE but haven't tried t yet. The psoas muscle gets stiffened during stress mostly.

and TRE claims to relax it (with regular practice)
