Seems like it releases GABA not blocks it. Maybe we didn't understand your English correctly. Personally I find anything GABAergic to be helpful for my POIS since I'm usually in an anxious state. I even have had my first and only panic attack that occurred during a workout. Perhaps due to exercise induced cortisol spike.

It seems a med called Dihydromyricetin avoid the alcohol hangover by avoiding GABA rollercoaster level.
It might be a potential Pois cure .

Seems interesting. From an Amazon review by a Biomedical researcher: " Some children with learning disabilities including autism are found to have impaired detoxification pathways. They can have mutations which cause carbs to convert to Acetyldehyde and this product assists in clearing it. These children can have LPS inflammatory responses linked to NOS and COX2 pathways and Dihydromyricetin (Hovenia Dulcis Extract) helps to down regulate it per Pubmed studies. This is especially important for PANS, ASD, and kids with severe gut dysbiosis."

Anyways I ordered some because why not add another bottle to my supplement pile.

100% sure I have a problem with  Gaba receptor

1/ valerian root gives me apneas (terrible  :-X )
2/ homeopathic, phyto (lavandula, chamomilla matricaria) gave me apneas
3/ Alcohol "cuts my legs" (loss of muscular strengh).

The gaba receptors controles muscles of breath.
If I take a big dose of benzo, I can't imagine what is will make....
I just spent the worst week end of my life. Impossible to breath, impossible to sleep. I have stopped all the plants&homeopathic meds. The situation came back to normal on the sunday.

Any info from niacin users how useful it can be in long term period? I know niacin effect reduce if used on a daily basis ( flush don't appear and overall effect seem lower) but what about using it for example 1-2 times a week for a years? Sorry if answer was already posted somewhere I just didn't find anything :-\
