Any new update on POIS the past year? Pregnenolone? Fundraising?
« on: February 17, 2018, 12:10:55 AM »
Hi all,

Just wondering if there have been any new effective treatments for POIS the past year?

Are we fundraising for research? If so, I have never been contacted.

There were a few posts on the supplement 'Pregnenolone' being effective. I believe Kurtosis found that it wiped out his POIS? Nanna also mentooned it was potentially helpful?

After several months of controlled POIS thanks to a monster prepack of Vitamin B's, magnesium, zinc etc... which have reduced my POIS between 50-90%, varying each time, I was reminded this weekend that Nocturnal Emissions can literally still ruin my life situation.

I have no idea what to do about this...

Any helpful info or updates would be so appreciated...

Not currently. We are looking for a POIS researcher/scientist, who will be awarded a maximum for the first study of $31,000 (the minimum for a Grant - raised by POISCenter forum members!) POIS Study Grant, to be awarded - - on our behalf - - by the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD):

Michael218, AND ALL OTHER FORUM MEMBERS, please feel free to email the attached application (link in below-quoted post) to any doctor or organization that you feel is qualified to study us! This kind of personalized approach can work very well for us.

10 years of significant POIS-reduction, treatment consisting of daily (365 days/year) testosterone patches.

TRT must be checked out carefully with your doctor due to fertility, cardiac and other risks.

40+ years of severe 4-days-POIS, married, raised a family, started/ran a business

Are doctors outside the USA able to make use of that grant and apply for a study?

Michael218, interesting. If you have an interest in Thailand/India, feel free to send our RFP to qualified people there.

I joined this website exclusively to answer your question!

NE used to plague me as well.  But I have cured it.  100%.  Basically you need to practice the testicle breathing exercise described in Mantak Chia's book "Taoist Secrets of Love: Cultivating Male Sexual Energy."

I used to get a NE about once every 2 weeks, which would obviously be terrible since POIS symptoms would kick in pretty hard (although not quite as hard as if I masturbated or had sex).

This exercise works really well when paired with the micro-cosmic orbit.  The micro-cosmic orbit teaches you how to circulate energy through your body and avoid a buildup in sexual chakra.  Micro-cosmic orbit will help you last much longer in bed, and avoid blue-balls.  Blue-balls are just a symptom of sexual energy which has not been circulated properly.  But the testicle breathing exercise in particular will help with NE.

If this sounds wu-wu or non-scientific, I would encourage you to try it, the proof is in the practice.  NE seriously used to plague me, and the discovery of that particular meditation was a GODSEND (especially when paired with the microcosmic orbit).

Hope that helps!

Cheers

I am one of the few members here that will greatly appreciate anything that has its roots in the Dao De Jing. Thank you for the post. Will look into it.
