Need help have bad pois
« on: September 03, 2018, 09:17:26 PM »
Hey guys,

I am a heavy undermethylater. I have bad undermethylation and took the tests suggested in walsh's protocal. I have extremely high histamine and low in zinc and the protocol I am on now which is zinc 50 mg, p5p 100mg, Sam-e 600mg , vitamin e (400mg), and a couple other supplements. I tried nanna?s protocol but I didn't seem to have too much effect (I don't know if i had enough fish oil or alpha gpc). Whenever I have an 0 i get extreme racing heart beat, my throat gets really itchy, flu like symptoms, nausea, etc. I am on a low dose antidepressant and take 15mg of valium and want to get off it but I can't seem to figure out how to stop this.

I can stop 0 for a couple weeks and have a couple without symptoms but then it just keeps coming back. I am always tired and can sleep 12-14 hours a day if I could. There has to be someway to get rid of this. I have tried so many supplements and have wasted thousands on doctors.

Supplements I have tried:
L tryptophan - helps only at extremely high doses
l tryrosine
5 htp
almost all of your protocol
adrenal extracts like adrenal fatigue fighter
Ashwaganda
Vitamin c(helps)
niacin (sometimes can help)
and so much more.

Hi HWP. and welcome to the forum!

If you have high histamine problems, I am not surprised that Vit C helps, because it helps to get rid of excess histamine, by boosting the activity of diamine oxydase, one of the two enzymes that eliminates histamine.

I often have excess histamine, and it usually manfiests as redness and itchiness in the eyes, itchiness on the skin, sneezing, and so on.  What works for me, for excess histamine, is daily Vitamin C  ( I take 250mg in the morning and 250mg in the afternoon), and my quercetin supplement ( 500mg quercetin, with bromelain, that helps the absorption of quercetin ).   When I have more symptoms, I can add some naturals mast cells stabilizers ( mast cells are releasing histamine), like pine bark extract, L-Theanine, and others, because a combination of many is more efficient than a high dose of only one or two ( you can see a list of all the natural mast cells stabilizers I use at http://poiscenter.com/forums/index.php?topic=2372.msg19856#msg19856 ).

You can see how I control my symptoms at http://poiscenter.com/forums/index.php?topic=2090.msg16604#msg16604 .   You could slowly develop your own pre-pack, by noting what works for you, keep it, and building up your pre-pack form there, slowly, through a patient work.
You are 100% responsible for what you do with anything I post on this forum and of any consequence it could have for you.  Forum rule: ""Do not use POISCenter as a substitute for, or to give, medical advice" Read the remaining part at http://poiscenter.com/forums/index.php?topic=1.msg10259#msg10259

Hi Help With Pois

It seems that in your case will be effective treatment with endocrinologist. Could you answer me how is your body composition? Excessive sleep is usually due to overweight or low muscle mass. You would have to work on this issue as well as medicines.

Fernando
My POIS only happens with masturbation. Normal sex does not generate POIS symptoms. My POIS is related to me mood and the health of my cervical spine. Dopamine/Inflammation/Body constitution (genetics) are factors that contribute to POIS.
