Transport-mediated choline deficiency
« on: January 04, 2019, 09:07:19 AM »
I was looking through journals to find out whether there was a link between elevated Lp-PLA2 activity and POTS, and stumbled upon this article. Since there are members who are reporting reduction in their POIS symptoms by taking choline supplements or choline related drugs it might be of interest to post this article here. It's the first medical case of this kind, it's unknown whether it's related to POTS or any disease state at all.

I took choline for a few weeks, but it did not do anything. Eggs are rich in choline. There is a guy who eats 3 eggs everyday. But there are also POIS-members who avoid eating eggs. So these are two extremes: a lot of eggs and no eggs.

And egg white is high in histamine.
POIS since 2000. Very bad since 2008. I knew that I have POIS since June 2010. Desensitization since March 2011. I stopped with desens in July 2016. I have 50% less POIS. And only 1 day of POIS. Purified CBD works for me, but I am allergic for CBD.

Hi Muon, yeah MG symptomes this is shortly linked with pois people.
But not all poiser reported MG symptomes.

I think that is choline in espreso COFFE( tipe of choline in cofee) in sinergy
with cofein responsibile to transform my body and mind
from dying felling to complitly diferent person next 6-7 hours.

Tested soya lecitin , not helped , egs to not helped.
I think that type of choline is importand , because
some people tested alfa GPC, thats brain bioavailability choline
and helped a lot. There cold be genetics stuck of choline patways,
and gut isues. I will post one nice link later.

Try Alpha GPC  Vandemolen, eggs didn't do anything for me either but alpha gpc had great effects.

I already tried alpha gpc for a few weeks. It is in Nanna’s stack. Did not help me.

Hi Muon,
Good find and thanks for posting! It's an interesting study to identify the mechanism of the deficiency. I wonder how many different mechanisms relate to pois.
