Are there any Vegan POIS sufferers?
« on: November 12, 2011, 05:24:09 PM »
With the recent increased concern about animal protein consumption and its negative effects in relation to nearly all diseases (for example 'the china study'), it would be interesting to see how many of us were vegans.

BTW, what´s the difference between vegan and vegetarian?
WITHOUT RESEARCH THERE WILL BE NO CURE!
Sessions 5 to 9 days, mostly Flu-like, joints, digestion problems, light cognitive.
Niacin has changed my lif though, now 1 day MAX.
Somewhere in this interaction with Niacin is the answer!

Hi,

Vegans wont eat anything that comes from an animal such as milk, eggs ect. Vegetarians will normally eat these and most of the time fish aswell.

If you would like to watch a recent mind blowing documentary detailing the harmfullness of animal protein, download it from the link below:

wowwww, if it is true that we have an auto immune disease, Dr T Colin Campbells extensive convinsing work puts firstly the cause and the support of development of nearly all autoimmune diseases down to dairy protein. If you would like me to send you a copy of his book 'The China Study' in a pdf format please send me your e-mail adress. What he has found, from studying many countries and an in-depth study of china, is that those parts of countries which consumed dairy products had much higher levels of autoimmune disease (including Type 1 diabetes and multiple sclerosis). He has numerous other studies that confirm his findings. The data is so convincing to me that i wish more people on this site would read into it. I am also eager to find out if anybody who never drinks milk or is a vegan has POIS.

Hi Jacksonsean, my gf is vegan (No milk, no eggs) and back in May, June... when we began our relationship; i recall eating in a vegan way the time i was with her... and i said that it diminished my POIS symptoms. It was the first time that i watched that Red Meats, and Sugars/Desserts were hurting me so badly; spiking my POIS to high levels. I could follow a vegan diet for 5-6 days and be ok since the 4 th day, but if i took red meat on 7-8th day after an Orgasm, my POIS returned to haunt me.

Right now, the food is not longer a problem. It seems that niacin blocks POIS is properly taken, and i could drink a lot of milk, eat meat... and not have POIS.

from my research, it seems that vitamin B3 essentially protects our cells from attack, however once this wears of, our cells will once again be attacked, and thus you may become reliant on high levels of niacin. Now if dairy was the cause of your body to attack proteins, which is elevated upon ejaculation (maybe because of protein from semen somehow entering the blood stream) I would strongly reccomend staying away from dairy which obviously helps the body distinguish between protein in the blood stream which shouldnt be there (diary) and unharmfull protein (from semen). Dr. John mcdougall explains that when the cells of our gut become weak or damaged, dairy proteins exit from the gut into the blood, the body recognizes these as viruses and the lymphocytes create antibodies to kill these proteins. Now, these antibodies are then circulating the blood stream and what causes autoimmune disorders is when these antibodies start atacking anything that is similar to the protein they were created to atack (in this case dairy protein), the targets include many of the cells within our body. So possibly, when protein from semen somehow enters the blood stream, the antibodies begin to attack these also. This process increases the creation of antibodies and thus the damage to our body. If this theory is correct, I would highly reccomend you stop your intake of dairy products in order to train your body not to attack similar cells and proteins.

Once again if you would like a copy of the book or a link to some of the studies i have been reading up on, just let me know.

sorry, I just realised that you were not bitu8489, I didnt realise 2 people were replying on this post. I would suggest that you revert to living a vegan diet if that got rid of POIS, and if you wish to hear about all the benefits of a vegan diet please watch the documentary I posted above.

Thanks
