Hi guys
I've been a regular stalker on this forum for almost 2 years now and i thought i should mention my success.
First of all, my POIS symptoms are usually at its worst on the second day after an O (headaches, flu like symptoms, joint and musclepain/stiffness....and worst of all loss of concentration). I am a research scientist in the field of lipid metabolism so loss of concentration REALLY messes up my work. I am extremely injury prone while on POIS.  I also used to get really bad acne after an O, but i went on an acutane treatment 3 years ago that made the acne stop (I would not wish for anyone to be on accutane by the way...it was one of the worst experiences of my life, but it worked).
Anyway after stalking this site for a while, I stuck to a regiment:

100 mg Niacin before an O (empty stomach of course, and must get the flush)
150 mg Picamilon before I go to bed.

Every morning I take:
Now foods b-coenzyme complex
5mg Ritalin (because one of my doctors thought I had ADD and I am now somewhat dependent on Ritalin)
fish oil
vitamin C
500mg L-Methionine (only if I had an O the night before).

This combination helped reduce the duration of the POIS symptoms, and I would say it was 50% effective.
The gold mine (for me at least) was adding a daily teaspoon of creatine  with a scoup of whey protein to my recipe. The first day after an O I would be 85-90% better. Definitely 100% by the 2nd or 3rd day. I am able to play soccer without joint pains or running out of breath really fast. My concentration is much much better at work. I am still a bit socially awkward the first day after an O, but it is much better than with POIS and it clears up by the second day.
I think my problem has to do with circulation and delivery of ATP to the brain and other organs/ tissues of my body.
I am considering reducing the amount of time that I take the 'b-coenzyme complex' because it really is a high dosage of b-vitamins. However, I am worried that I will get a decline in my progress; i like to stick with what works, and I confess that I will not experiment on myself unless I see that someone on the forum has done it before.
Anyway just thought I should share my experience

Thanks for your report, ssquall. I haven't tried creatine or whey protein before, but I'll have to consider it now since reduction of my joint pain and fatigue would be great.
