Hey all, hope everyone's doing well! I'm Miriam, a science/health reporter who recently came across POIS and this forum. From what I've read so far, I can't imagine what many of you have gone through, and I feel there needs to be more of a spotlight on POIS. I'm hoping to get in touch with folks to learn about their personal experiences to better understand the condition in all its nuances. If any of y'all feel up to talking to me, feel free to use the "Contact Me" on my Linktree (https://linktr.ee/miriamfauzia). I know it's not easy to open up about something deeply personal with a complete internet stranger, but I would be privileged to hear your story.

Also, to the mods: apologies if this isn't the right place to post! I've also posted this request in the "Relationships" subforum. Definitely advise if there's somewhere else within the forum that's more appropriate.

Hi , Miriam, and thanks for your interest in POIS !
You are totally right that POIS needs to be talked about more often in the media. Actually, even among physicians, it is not well known, and our members often have bad experiences when consulting for POIS.
Members, in general, do not visit the forum every day.  Most will come once a month or so, to see what's new. So, you may have to wait a few months before interested members answer in this thread or contact you directly.
Obviously, not all members are ok with sharing their stories for a health article.  But some of our members do go public.  For example, member Warrior has created this year many videos about POIS and put them on his YouTube channel - great work !  See for yourself at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80wts6prt6A

In order to raise your chances of getting more POIS stories, you could also post on the POIS Reddit, at https://www.reddit.com/r/POIS/ , and the POIS Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/1457009341209480/ .

Do not hesitate to ask questions about POIS, and let us know whenever you will publish your POIS article !
You are 100% responsible for what you do with anything I post on this forum and of any consequence it could have for you.  Forum rule: ""Do not use POISCenter as a substitute for, or to give, medical advice" Read the remaining part at http://poiscenter.com/forums/index.php?topic=1.msg10259#msg10259
