things that didnt work for me
« on: February 16, 2023, 11:42:52 PM »
i know everyone's pois is different and different people benefit from different lifestyles, medication or therapies for there type of pois,
i am here to discuss what i have tried and what have not worked for me, doesn't mean it wont work for you either.

things that did not work

-   exercise(2 years of 4 days in a week heavy exercise in gym)
-   food exclusions(gluten, fats, carbs, protein) nothing ever worked(4+ years strictly observed)
-   anti depressants of maybe 6 different kinds(1 year of daily medicine consumption)
-   nsaids(for immune system)Etodolac, diclofenac and a few others(daily intake or per need intake both did not work)(4 months of daily use of medication)
-   creatine(for muscle weakness)(1.5 years of daily usage)
-   L thienine, ginko biloba, bcaa(for memory)(6 month daily supplement usage)
-   caffeine(tablets,coffee) for muscle weakness and overall malease(i still take caffeine everyday)
-   socialization(as a anti depressant)(does not work)
-   sleep schedule(4am-8pm) followed for months without any improvement(i had this schedule for 1 year without fail 1 year of my work)
-   epilepsy medication(for muscle pain/weakness)(full course but nothing effected doctor discontinued)
-   heavy b complex(1 year)
-   vitamin supplement(1 years daily medicine intake)
-   cod liver oil(daily for about a year)

i have had pois since i was 14 or 15, with usual symptoms of muscle weakness/pain, dry eye/keratoconus,
brain fog, social isolation difficult in choosing words/talking to people.

over the years i have tried all the above methods to cure pois but none of them have ever worked.

what i have observed they did work for a short duration for about a couple of days and then stopped working, form this i have concluded for me these methods did gave me some sort of placebo effect or affected a unrelated disorder within me like nsaids worked for a couple of days or if i took them in long gaps same with anti depressant medications or caffeine but as soon as my body gets habituated or the placebo effect runs out all the given methods stop working.

please comment the methods you have tried and did not work for you.

Ask doctor for antibiotics - see which ones helped most POISers
