Wondering if someone can shed some light and help me hone this (since in US its very difficult to get advanced testing - HOMA-IR etc).
I have a very very delayed glucose clearance. Eating 3500 high-carb calories, glucose peaked at 150 and stayed elevated for 2 full frickin days around 128. Even low-carb calories (high-fat), my glucose stays around 100. That does indicate that I stay mostly in fight-flight mode (sympathetic nervous system response)
Markers: Hba1c: 5.4, Triglycerides: 38, LDL: 100, HDL-C: 87
A one expert told me, this would more T2DM than T1DM, though to me logically these markers would be towards Type 1 diabetes.
