I am somebody who benefited tremendously from this forum. Changed my life. A prepack of Vitamin B's and other stuff suggeste had helped me almost eliminate POIS entirely.
Then it came back. The prepack was far less effective for quite a long time and I had no idea why. Then I made a few conscious life changes to eliminate ALL stress factors in my life. The ones I couldn't avoid, I simply accepted totally instead of resisting them. Having very very low stress levels literally wiped out my POIS almost entirely again immediately following these life changes. Quantum once mentioned keeping "base line anxiety levels low" and I never realised how essential this was for myself personally in keeping POIS under control. It REALLY makes all the difference for me. Months later I still have success, and I am more conscious than ever of every moment to moment decision I make, ensuring it won't disturb my inner peace. It isn't selfish, you can't pour from an empty cup!
But. One issue I have is this. Because I only orgasm every 4 days to avoid wet dreams, I often get serious insomnia due to the build-up... The night of O is fine. The issue is many other nights I am often not relaxed enough to fall asleep. And this makes me almost as dysfunctional as when I'm in POIS! I could try to O more often, but worry about the prepack becoming ineffective. I also try to avoid anything sexy to avoid the buildup, but having to orgasm every 4 days to avoid a wet dream keeps girls on the mind, and it's very difficult...
Anyone else battling insomnia?
Anyone with any ideas?
I'm seeing a sexual health specialist doctor here in Australia next week, so I'll be mentioning all this to him anyway.
