;D
10 years of significant POIS-reduction, treatment consisting of daily (365 days/year) testosterone patches.

TRT must be checked out carefully with your doctor due to fertility, cardiac and other risks.

40+ years of severe 4-days-POIS, married, raised a family, started/ran a business

Swell I'm glad you found a remedy for your ailment but don't generalize your condition on everybody else, people in this forum could have a perfectly healthy thyroid, we need to do tests before jumping into conclusions.
I agree.

Guys I wish I had a remedy, its too early to tell.  I am thrilled to get my swelling off, brainfog, speech and many other systemic changes happening, damn each day for one I wake up more and more chisled.  Sadly my paresis - is still 100% there (maybe that will take months to resolve, I dont know) What I am concerned about is, that medical system has a taboo about Thyroid (just like it has about POIS, specially a decade back), my concern is, it is not perceived 'cool' to be researching on old mighty Thyroid and finding it to be cure for something.   Since I'm no expert, my present good results could vanish in a month, or I could be doing some teeny aspect wrong, which if timely correct could make ton of difference.  I hate to make mistake, so I want you Experts here to look into Thyroid, I am only telling you it has super powerful effect on metabolism pathways, testosterone etc.  If you experts "seriously" look into this so I and we all can benefit.

I think its very very clear, POIS is caused by a childhood stressful experience leading to a totally altered response to stress in POIS'ers.  This directly leads to Thyroid dysfunction (hypo and hyper), which materially exaggerates innate weaknesses (like nerve weakness turning to paresis, etc), leading to brain fog, anxiety, speech, dysarthia, gut motility, allergies, inflammation.   While you can chase your entire life treating each symptom, which most of us have been doing and which our current day medical practice framework engages in, OR you can nip the problem from the root, i.e. a) Psylocybin mushrooms (if that is legal where you live), and try to re-condition your stress response b) and work on your THYROID (is there way to make it more capital?) i.e. staying away from general MD's, and going straight to a Specialist who is not constraint by the prevailing general practice framework.

My POIS also last about 3 months, and it only triggers by masturbate but not by sex. During POIS my face looks thinned and saggy

My Thyroid is fine and healthy...
I don't think Psychedelic drugs like mushrooms can be helpful for POIS...
Even marijuana in POIS not good for POIS symptoms ( short-term memory loss, paranoia , anxiety attacks ) although it help the headache eyes pressures during pois..

Congratulations, you cured your POIS, thanks to the mighty THYROID :) :) :) that AMA/Mayo Clinic/our Pharma friends are too afraid to talk about.  Wolfberries are powerful anti-oxidant that lower estrogen levels, the biggest impediment for T4 to T3 conversion.
