We are trying this. (We, meaning my son). It's costly and takes a long time. She seems incredibly knowledgeable!! And compassionate, and methodical. But so far no results. Just over one month on an anti-inflammatory type diet, abstaining from his food intolerances: eggs, soy, and oats, eating only organic for now, and high quality supplements. I'd have to find the list he's on.

Have you had any success?

I think it would be better to increase daily cholesterol intake by natural foods... like organic eggs... i hv been eating 2 eggs daily for 3 yrs 7 months... my depression is far better than it had been 3 yrs back... but still no complete relief.. i hvnt lost hope yet....
I say to increase cholesterol intake because thr hv been journals that find low cholesterol in depressed patients

Just my opinion...

I used not to eat eggs. I thought it was too boring to wait to cook.

But, about 2 years ago I started eating eggs every day for breakfast. 1 egg per day. Organic, naturally-fed, naturally-bred poultry eggs.

My allergic rhinitis has improved by 80%. But the POIS part does not seem to have changed much. Anyway, something has improved.
My POIS only happens with masturbation. Normal sex does not generate POIS symptoms. My POIS is related to me mood and the health of my cervical spine. Dopamine/Inflammation/Body constitution (genetics) are factors that contribute to POIS.

Now that you've mentioned cholesterol Bulbo, I always had a low cholesterol level. I got some old lab results with abnormal values and will upload this in a few weeks. Doctors told me the lower your cholesterol the better, but is this true? Have you ever measured your cholesterol level Bulbo?

Hello muon
One of the main risk factors for coronary artery disease is dyslipidemia thats why doctors say low cholesterol is good for health.... But many studies hv shown that depressed people have low cholesterol in blood... cholesterol and other lipid derivtives are necessary for proper neuronal function... the myelin sheath which insulates neurons are made up of proteins and lipids...so cholesterol is definitley needed for proper neuronal function..
I didnt check my lipid profile before starting to eat eggs daily... recently i checked my lipid profile and the results were
Total cholesterol - 198
HDL - 50
LDL-70
TGL -100
