muscle and joint pain
« on: June 15, 2011, 08:43:31 AM »
I think a lot of us have muscle and joint pain. But I think that's only partially to blame to POIS. I think the muscle and joint pain is also caused because of mast. too long. When you stay in 1 position for a long time that's not good for your muscles and joints.
POIS since 2000. Very bad since 2008. I knew that I have POIS since June 2010. Desensitization since March 2011. I stopped with desens in July 2016. I have 50% less POIS. And only 1 day of POIS. Purified CBD works for me, but I am allergic for CBD.

Well, there's no doubt that your not a PE candidate  ;D  ;D

I save all of my activity for my wifey! So not much staying in one postion for a long time!  :D

Or she gets out the whip and styrrups right away.

All of my muscle and joint pain is either POIS or whip burn!!

No but seriously!

Just from POIS, like POIS related arthritis.

WITHOUT RESEARCH THERE WILL BE NO CURE!
Sessions 5 to 9 days, mostly Flu-like, joints, digestion problems, light cognitive.
Niacin has changed my lif though, now 1 day MAX.
Somewhere in this interaction with Niacin is the answer!

Well ok, that counts for you. But for teenagers and the guys who aren't married, this could be a cause for their muscle and joint pain. I read that one guy has 3 O.'s in a day during POIS.  :o

I can say with 100% certainty that my joint/muscle pain is caused solely by POIS and not at all by the act of masturbating or any kind of lack of physical movement.

I know this because of a couple of reasons. First, before I had POIS I would still lay in bed and sit at a computer for long periods of time and would never have any muscle or joint pain at all. None. Secondly, if I masturbate standing up and say go for a walk the second after I orgasm I will get such horrible muscle/joint pain in my legs and around my knees that it scares me.
Taking ginger tea, no wheat, fenugreek+green tea/garlic, saw palmetto, niacin, boswellia, huperzine, B complex and nutmeg. See my treatment summary post for more info: http://poiscenter.com/forums/index.php?topic=81.msg3513#msg3513

I've had this pain too during POIS.  I know it's not from sitting in any position since it lasts for up to two weeks and also is accompanied by muscle weakness.

If I work out or doing sport before Pois time, the joint pains and muscle pains are stronger. If I'm inactive, these symptoms are reduced. Pois only creates an inflammation like in a normal flu.
Taurine = Anti-Pois

Yes, B_Jim, absolutely.

I'm in POIS now, and prior to that I had been working in a position that is difficult for the neck and upper back. Although before the POIS, I did notice a bit of tension in the area it passed. But now that I'm in POIS, it's barely supportable.

Other times it's the elbows from previously chopping wood or arms from throwing the 4 yr old in the air like he likes to do.

The POIS inflamation exagerates any sensitive tissue. Perhaps there's a histamine build up in the tissues that reacts with POIS.

Maybe that's why the Niacin works so well, it does a pre-flush of the stored histamines in a controlled way!

Those pains come not from muscles but from the lymphatic system. Im sure.

I think in my case joint pain is caused by anxiety. My anxiety is caused by POIS and antibiotics.

Don't think joint pains are related to Anxiety. In my case they are likely due to low Testosterone. Do you also have general feeling of weakness and muscle aches when in peak POIS?
33 years old, POIS for around 12 years with increasing severity.
Major symptoms - Severe fatigue, back pain, unrefreshed even after 9+ hours sleep, pain behind eyes, very dry face, bald head with inflamed scalp, digestion issues and constipation. Very low testosterone and high glucose in blood tests

Aromatase inhibitors may lower estrogen while increasing testosterone. Thus it is interesting that they may actually cause arthralgia (joint pain). A novel formula called OPERA(R) based on alpha-Lipoic acid, Boswellia serrata, Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) and Bromelain was effective for pain reduction in a clinical trial. As these were more or less effective for some members a joint application may deserve consideration.

The cause is probably the senescence of sexual organs and resultant inducible SASP, which also acts as a kind of non-diabetic metabolic syndrome.
