Testicular surgery
« on: November 21, 2017, 09:22:08 PM »
Hi all,

I had testicular surgery to prevent a torsion when I was around 12 or 13 years old, I can still feel the scars of it there and I think that this surgery and scarring to the balls may be allowing the immune system suppressors to be suppressed!

I found some info about that here.  I think it?s an interesting theory.  I know Daveman had vasectomy and reveresal surgery done.  Has anyone else had surgery? I don?t recall if I had this issue before...

When I was somewhere between 4 and 7 years old I had a circumcision. I don't really think it is connected to POIS but it was an odd experience. For about 7-10 days afterwards I had to wear bandages around my genitals and everytime I had to pee it was a hassle and very very painful. Still don't know if this is a normal healing reaction after such a procedure, but the way I remember it (not sure what actually happened) there might have been some complications. I was often wondering if it could have caused some nerve damage and relates in some way to POIS though it seems unlikely.

I have been researching Male orgasm a lot lately and one interesting thing is that circumcised guys have less skin around the penis and the skin gets pulled and the testicles become tighter to the body so it may play a small role for those POIS sufferers who have pain in the groin area after O. I know that my own testicle can get so tight that if a girl I was having sex with was on top "cowgirl style" she would be crushing my balls so I have to push them back down. I don't think POIS can be from circumcision alone because then we would have a million POIS guys in here. But it a guy with POIS has that too I think it could make the physical symptoms worse.
POIS sufferer for over 3 decades. Has progressively gotten worse over the years and I became completely disabled around 2011. My case of POIS is very severe.

I suppose it's possible for it to be a condition of circumcision, though I agree with Disaster that it would probably be pretty apparent in nations and religions where circumcision is the norm.
