Dopamine vs Norepinephrine
« on: July 21, 2019, 12:37:01 PM »
Just a general question:
What is more significant in POIS's neuropsychology symptoms? Dopamine or Norepinephrine?
This question comes because therapeutically I have a problem picking between DRI's vs NRI's.

I've just started bupropion which is a mix of both. For me I would say norepinephrine is more important.

Hard to say after 2 days but I did have a wet on the morning of my first day taking and it seems like it intensified the reaction of my semen and my bladder like a lot of burning which I don't usually get so much. I do remember a similar thing happening with sertraline. Anyway I need to test further after I've been taking for a few weeks as my body isn't used to this drug yet. I basically had no sex drive for the past six months which I guess is a good thing for POIS, this drug is supposed to increase your sex drive. My main problems recently have been waking up feeling groggy and imbalanced which lasts until like  dinner time and makes socialising in the day hard similar to POIS. I also probably had bad social anxiety in general as I couldn't look into a girl on the streets eyes for 1 sec without looking away or blinking (I should be the one making them look away) I felt like the biggest beta male lol.

Anyway I think this drug will stop that as I feel much better when waking now.

It seems like its much better than  the typical anti depressants which actually just made me feel depressed and have a state of constant brain fog. People say it's like adderall but without the bad effects. Whether it will help POIS I'm not sure, will update.

In my case , dopamine.
Small dose of caffeine, small sexuall arousal: i get relief from "low dopamine" symptomes.
This is only guessing.

Thanks, Muon!

You won’t find that language in the professional writing of the people we wish to interact with now. Outsiders who matter to us most!  Let’s step up to that same level of professionalism so we can get this evil disorder of ours cured! It’s not asking much!!!

Thank you, everyone!

10 years of significant POIS-reduction, treatment consisting of daily (365 days/year) testosterone patches.

TRT must be checked out carefully with your doctor due to fertility, cardiac and other risks.

40+ years of severe 4-days-POIS, married, raised a family, started/ran a business

Concentrated gluten diet may help ... it cures the bullshit but causes complete madness. It makes POIS a secondary condition which is good, now you can blame something else and doctors take you seriously
